What cable can I use to link up my Virgin Media to my bedroom? I have Virgin in my living room and would like to connect the same box up to my TV in the bedroom through an extra long wire. Could someone tell me what the name of this cable is so I can buy it from Ebay and sort this out.

New Virgin Media Digi box, poor signal to bedroom? I had an old freeview box but replaced it with a Virgin Media one. The signal from my old freeview box was spot on when sent via a 'Tevion' transmitter from the sitting room to the bedroom. With Virgin Media VBOX I have to kick my partner out of bed to change channels in the next room and the signal is sh*t! Or is my transmitter sh*t?

Help With Color Sceme For Medium Size Bedroom? Ceiling is 96" high with medium size round light fixture in center. Bedroom has 2 smaller walls and they both meet at doorway, then 4 large ones. One of the large walls has 2 very large windows. I have 2 1/2 gallons of "Montego Bay" http://www.materials-world.com/paint-colors/pittsburgh_paints/pittsburgh-paint-12.htm And I have 1 1/2 gallons of "Hypnotic Sea" http://www.materials-world.com/paint-colors/pittsburgh_paints/pittsburgh-paint-23.htm Both colors are at bottom right on charts. How should I use these 2 colors in this bedroom to get a bigger feel? Should I do all walls Montego and ceiling Hypnotic or? Any advice is always appreciated. I picked the colors. The montego bay matches the new carpet, the paint is a little lighter than the carpet. The hypnotic sea is a bit dark but there is so much light coming into room from the 2 large windows I think the darker shade will look fine without shrinking the room too much.

Virgin Media connect to bedroom Help!? Hi I want to connect my virgin media to my bedroom, I have the right equipment I think but it wont work. I have a splitter, Tried doing it from splitter where 1 wire is to box downstairs, 1 wire is for my broadband & the extra wire is to my bedroom straight into my TV. No signal. Also try taking the extra wire from the splitter so the wire going from the box downstairs straight to my bedroom. Still no signal. Were am I going wrong? Why is Michael Jackson getting all of the media attention ? When a famous person dies they are naturally remembered for their talent. I give him SOME credit, Michael Jackson was a great entertainer, singer and songwriter. HOWEVER, now that Michael Jackson is dead, the only things I can truly remember about Michael Jackson is his absolutely freaky appearance, one of a transsexual which may be the reason he liked little boys. More importantly, his child molestation INTERVIEW and his ridiculously lame explanation about having children sleeping in their underwear in his bedroom and the fact he was charged twice and accused numerous times of having sexual relations with children. Some very important information is just obviously overlooked when you're famous I guess. It's funny how the media doesn't even mention that Michael Jackson was accused of molesting little boys now. 1). Michael Jackson had a Neverland Ranch (a common luring or grooming practice that pedophiles use). 2). Michael Jackson had a motion sensor alarm on his bedroom door to alert him when someone was approaching his bedroom door. Why? 3). Michael Jackson admitted he slept in the same bed with children while they were wearing their underwear. 4). Why would Michael Jackson settle for 20 million with the family of the victim if he was innocent? It doesn't make sense... 5). And, the list of info. goes on and on... like placing his child over a balcony!!! I do not support or defend Michael Jackson in an way shape or form. I am not a fan, and anyone who does is obviously brainwashed!!! The fact of the matter is, Michael Jackson's behavior was totally unacceptable and absolutely disgusting as to what he got away with over the years. How do I (wireless) configure a Home Audio System + TV+media on PC? here are the parts. Computer in bedroom has movies, pics and music on it. I want to be able to stream the movies and pics to my HDTV in the living room(unreachable with wires) and the music to the reciever for the speakers in celing which is in the Kitchen. Need help with decision to buy or build media player? I have a Ubuntu Linux box setup as a file server in my home office. I use some of this space to store avi files which is shared using Samba. I can then access these files using my Windows Media Center in the den and through an XBox in the living room. I want to put another media player in the bedroom but I don't want a clunky XBox or full PC hooked up to the bedroom TV. Plus, I don't want to spend a fortune. I was present during a Toronto Star interview on a single father who had a 5yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl to raise.His wife became ill and just left. His job had long hours.Because of long hours he quit so he could raise his kids.He applied to welfare and they told him to give the kids up for adoption as being a male he would be unable to look after them.This was not reported in the Star, I wonder why? Next, he was given $900 a month to live on.Luckily he didn't smoke or drink.His rent was $750 a month for a 2 bedroom bsmt apt.This was not one of those geared-to-income places but the cheapest place he could find in Scarborough.The Toronto Star reported that he received $1200 a month. Money from goverment for low income families is deducted from their cheques. I asked the Toronto Star why they had blatantly lied and left out details they said if they hadn't they would not be allowed to run the story.Who would stop it?NO ANSWER GIVEN!At the time,no goverment help for single MALE parents

Foster kids or media room? was it selfish of me to want the media room? It's a long story, and I'll give you a condensed version of it: Family #1: Mom and Dad, 2 biological sons, 2 adopted daughters (my names Rilee, i'm 14, one of the adopted daughters of fam #1). Family #2: mom and dad, 2 bio daughters, 1 bio son, 1 adopted nephew. The mom in family #1 died, dad in family #2 ran out on fam, so remaining single parents marry making step family with 8 kids. well they got busy and had 2 more kids, and also became foster parents. over 15-20 diff kids have come and gone, they adopted 2, and currently have 3 in long term care (total of 15 kids, 12 of them currently live at home). we have a 4 bedroom house (with an attic turned bedroom, and half garage turned bedroom - so more like a 6 bed house). recently my parents sat us all down and said pretty much "we love all of our kids, but as of right now, we aren't taking any more kids into long term care" (the 3 that are with us now though are staying). the other half of the garage we are making into another room, but they gave us a choice, we could use it as a media/theatre room, or we could make another bedroom for temporary foster kids (kids who just need somewhere to stay until they can find somewhere else for them to stay). everyone else chose bedroom, i chose media room. i was outvoted. but was that selfish of me? i mean, i already have 8 brothers (26, 21, 15, 13, 12, 9, 7, and 3) and 6 sisters (25, 18, 17, 11, 8, and 2). and temporary kids just come and go pretty quickly so its not like we'd be making that much of an impact on them anyway (we'd be "just another family to add to the list". i used to be in foster care, i would know), but idk. i felt kinda stupid being the only one voting against it.

I am building a house and want a lot of square footage, but will probably have to cut some corners.? What specifically will add more value to an appraisal? Hand scrapped wood floors versus carpet? Chandeliers versus can lights? What do they look for? I need the appraisal to come in at least 20% over what I spend to build the house, so, if I have to leave some unfinished "attic space" should it be the 5th and 6th bedrooms? or the media room? I know appraisers work with comparable values in the area, but they vary widely in the town I am considering. So, what else would influence him to rate my new house higher than 30 year old farm houses in the same area?

widows media center? is there a way to install media center with out restarting your computer. By this i mean just install it as a program instead of a whole new windows so i can still kepp my programs and files? Or will i need to get another computer (i have a spare) and put it on there. Media Room? What is the differnce between a media room and a living room? Also, we just opened up our attic and put up walls to add three more rooms to our house, basically just to increase home value, but now we are unsure how to make the best use of the space. What kind of heating can I expect from an electric fireplace? I was planning on adding another electric heater to my house but the electric fireplace will only be a few hundred more. What should I do with the empty nest? My son moved out and now his bedroom is empty. I already have an office (computer, fax, printer, bookcase, globe, etc.) and my husband has a media room (home theater, stereo, surround sound, etc.). She has noit been questioned about Vince foster or thecattle futures or renting the Lincoln Bedroom or any of the clinton scandals or all of the friend she has that are CINVICTED FELONS. Home Information Packs - media blow-up? One evening newspaper today carried the placard : H.I.P.s 'axed'. An internet news service talked of a govermment 'U-Turn'. All that has happened is that introduction of the packs has been put off till August and the packs will at first apply only to 4-bedroom properties. How this amounts to a U-Turn, let alone axing, only the media can explain. I always thought the media had some tenuous commitment to 'telling it like it is'. Can We Not Leave It In The Bedroom??? I have heard LGBT's say in responce to someone protesting gay issues being covered in public schools in this way. 'What do you care what I do in the privacy of my own home?' I would gladly leave you to the privacy of your bedroom. It is when you enter the public forum and public schools when my hackles get raised. I think we can all agree that if it was left in the privacy of ones bedroom it would not be a controversial public debate. So my question is can we leave the children alone in the school systems? Can we stop flooding the court system with yet another frivolous lawsuit? Can we send our lobbyists home so politicians can deal with real issues, and threats to national security? Can we get it off the media and prime time news in order to place it where it belongs? The privacy of a consenting adults bedroom? Can we, or is the statement just a pointless statement to divert from the actual issue at hand? Folks, I understand you think your homosexuality trancsends all borders and values, but the fact is I have heard gays use the statement, not heteros. I do not need a lecture on how LGBTs view thenmselves as a subculture. You say subculture, I say fringe group. Tomayto tomahto. If there is a real issue overshadowed then by all means can we address the issue? Define the word homosexuality and then expalin how the definition transcends anything but sex.

Since storage space is cheap I'm looking to archive the originals uncompressed and navigate via remote control (artwork preferable) on all of the televisions. XBOX 360 in bedroom 1 Linksys DMA2100/2200 in bedrooms PS3 on future television Kaleidascape have an easy to use system, but at $16,000 for a base system... way too expensive considering it's all PC based hardware anyway. Getting Sky with virgin media phoneline (and other queries)? Hi guys. I'm looking to get Sky (maybe Sky +) installed in my bedroom early next year. The situation is that my family currently have Virgin Media's television, broadband and phone service installed downstairs. The Sky will just be for myself (I'll be paying from my own money) but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it: a) upstairs and b) with a virgin media phoneline. I'm not really clued up and the Sky site doesn't really help. Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks I'm not interested in getting Virgin unless there's absolutely no way I can get Sky. It's the missing channels on Virgin that is making me opt for Sky (I don't want to miss another season of Lost ).

During the Clintons tenure, every time one of their scandals or crimes were publicized, Hillary conducted intensive photo-ops, using Chelsea as a human shield to deflect criticism for her wrong-doing, like stealing FBI files, travelgate, whitewater, selling pardons, ripping off WH property, selling "over nights" in the Lincoln bedroom, sending thugs to intimidate withesses and scare women who had been intimate with Bill, to hold their tongues, obstructing justice, withholding evidence- just to name a few. Hillary proclaimed to the media, any probing about Chelsea is taboo, while Chelsea was under-age; now that Chelsea is closer to 30, should the media abide with their past policy if Hillary continues to use her as a shield? PS As if Hillary were elected, the scandals and abuse of power would not be as intense, when she was the first lady.... mezmarel....so if you and other liberals asist in sHrillery from being charged with a crime, it didn't happen? Is there any crime I listed that she is innocent? I think what you mean is that if Hillary escaped justice, she is innocent.... right.
