What are the basic rules of a feng shui bedroom? I am aiming to reduce the amount of stress in my life and want a complete tidy out my room and place my furnature differently, any ideas how to feng shui it nicely?

Feng Shui: Master Bedroom over the Kitchen? As per Feng Shui, is it bad to have the Master Bedroom directly above the Kitchen? In our new home, I realized that our bed is directly above the stove. feng shui bedroom? My best direction for the bedroom is putting the bed against a wall that communicates directly to a bathroom. My head will be pointing to the toilet when I sleep, the other direction will have my headboard below two big windows and the last option will be to place my bed in not so auspicious direction above the stove in the kitchen. Feng Shui bedroom color. Need help!? I'm new to Feng Shui, so sorry for the beginner question. I'm looking to paint my bedroom, and have been doing my research, but I'm still confused. Here's some background information: My gua number is 6 (1985), the front door of the house points NE, and the house was built in 1989. If it makes a difference, the house is on a cul-de-sac, which I don't think is the best for energy flow. My room falls in the upper-left corner of the bagua map. Currently all the walls are white, tan carpet, with the hallways of the house having brown hardwood floor. The roof of the house has red tile and receives a lot of sun, so I believe that's creating a lot of yang energy. The only direction I can place my bed is SE, which for me is the Huo Hai (mishaps) direction. I'm thinking about painting the SE wall a darker shade of red with the rest of the walls either a stone gray or a taupe color. I red somewhere that painting certain walls can attract spirits, but I haven't been able to find much information about this. My furniture is currently dark brown wood, but I can change the color if needed. Am I looking at the right colors? If not, what colors should I consider? I read that you should use earth colors for the bedroom, but I'm confused because I'm not sure how my element color would affect this. Can someone please shed some light on this for me? I'm trying to learn all I can and would appreciate all the help I can get.

Feng shui bedroom question? My boyfriend and I have different Kua numbers meaning where one position is good for me is bad for him. We are going to move soon and the room where the bedroom is placed is a bit complicate as one walks in the closet and bathroom are in the right facing north the bed can go aside from these two doors having the bed facing east but I think is not good feng shui. on the other wall there is a big window facing south so the feet are now facing the closet and bathroom doors. Based on a basic square diagram, on my south wall my door is on the far right. turning the diagram clockwise, on my new south wall, my large closet doors are on the far right and take up half the wall.turning the diagram clockwise again, on my newest south wall my windows are 2/4 the size of the wall and are centered. turning the diagram clockwise for the third time, the newest south wall is bare. Lastly, if you turn the diagram clockwise once more, you are back to the starting position. now, from what i've studied about feng shui, there is no ideal spot in my bedroom for my bed. either the door, closet doors, or windows are always in the way.

How to Feng Shui my bedroom? Skip to bottom for short. Two cousins and I are renting out a nice roomy house. Even though i signed everything, I ended up with one of the small bedrooms... oh well. The layout of my new bedroom is this: Picture a piece of printing paper, lay it on it's side so it is long left to right. The entrance door is on the bottom right. Closet is on the right wall with mirror sliding doors. Window on the left wall, double paned. Built in shelf in the bottom wall, running almost all across it. The walls and shelf are white, the carpet is dirt/poop brown with hints of red... How do I furnish such an ugly combination?? I was thinking to accent it with green, to give it a "nature" feel... what do you think? Also, I am planning on only putting my bed in there with a couple end tables.
