Does anyone know of a store/website with Middle Eastern style furniture bedroom sets? I went to Israel this summer, and they have the most beautiful furniture there. I have been browsing websites over here, and I cannot find anything remotely as nice as the ones in Israel. I am sick of boring Ikea bedroom sets. I want something with taste and style. any recommendations?

How do I re-finish a bedroom furniture set? I'm looking to refinish my bedroom dressers and nightstand. My plan is on plugging the holes left from the old hardware, sanding off the current finish, drilling new holes for the new hardware, and restaining it. What types of finsih should i look at? I want it to be black, but dont know what types of stain i should use and if i need to polyurthene it as well.

What color should I paint my bedroom to compliment whitewashed furniture? My bedroom set is whitewash in color...like a very light tan, but whitewashed. Unfortunately my walls are a very light brown. I am restaining a bedroom set, how do i use chemical stripper? I plan on restaining my set of bedroom furniture. I was told to strip the old finish first with chemical stripper and then finely sand the surfaces with a smooth sandpaper. I've done plenty of sanding, but havent ever used chemical stripper. What tips should i know? The legs of my night stand have some detailing, but not too much overall. What is the best kind of chemical stripper? How to get rid of roaches on bed room furniture? So, my husband and I bought a bedroom furniture (inculding mattress) set via craigslist. When we got it to our house, we noticed several tiny roach crawling out of the drawers. Obviously the house we bought it from was infested!!! Thankfully we have not seen any come out of the mattress. We are afraid to use soup and water because this will damage the furniture. Any suggestions? Is this salvagable, or did we just buy a disaster?!?!?!
Why do bedroom sets only come with one nightstand? I could see maybe if it were a twin sized bed or maybe even a full, but why on earth would they think only one nightstand would suffice for a queen or king sized bed that two people sleep in? Why do the furniture people do that?

Why is it so hard to find a bedroom set for a 21 year old woman? I am in my last year of college and live with my parents, I plan on moving out when I have a stable career, hopefully in the next two years. I am looking for a nice bedroom set. It is so hard to find a bedroom set with a desk! Desks only seem to be offered in children sets. Also, it is hard to find a nice, twin-sized bed. What are the cost invoved in refinishing furniture for DIY. I found a 5 piece Bedroom set that needs.....? Victorian Bedroom Furniture For Teenage Girl? I'm 13 years old and I am going to remodel my bedroom in the near furture. I'm really into that Victorian style furniture with the old antique accessories (like things you would find in your grandmother's house). I like the white furniture, not the dark brown.
