I went to a store today and one guy is offering me queen size bed, bed frame, chest, drawer with mirror and two night stand's. Real "oak" for $1,300 i convinced him to lower the price from $2,000...im just not to shore about it... Where to buy inexpensive good furniture.....? Can't hold my lease for a 1 bedroom, what should I do? I signed a lease on September 2009 for 1 year. I can’t keep my lease because I’m moving in January 2010. I have my internet set up and everything but no cable, I have air-conditioning in that apartment (that I spent $400 on, so that’s a plus)The internet company that I am with is offering me a discounted price on my internet bill for 6 months starting October because I am a student. Could I find someone to take up my lease for the 9 months that are still left? How would I go about charging them for rent? I pay $750/mnth for a 1 bedroom; electricity bill is extra & last but not lease my internet bill. Would I charge the renter $750+my internet bill and then transfer the utility bill under his name? I mean the apartment and the internet bill would still be under my name legally. I’m just thinking could this legally be done, if I made a contract and they signed for it? Is this a good idea or no?

I need opinions on where to get blinds/curtains for my new condo.? I don't want to spend a lot on getting custom blinds. I am actually thinking that standard slat ones will be fine. He allowed his ex into his room before I've even been there.? My boyfriend agreed to his ex visiting him to discuss her personal problems with her most recent ex. He has told me before that she is a dysfunctional person who goes from man to man. He told me after the fact that he allowed her to stop by his house, which he's just moved into and I haven't even seen as yet (will do in a few days), with nobody else around, just the two of them, and he showed her his bedroom..the place where he and I are to be intimate. I don't believe for a second that he slept with her or has feelings for her beyond concern for someone he considers a slightly exasperating friend whom he sees infrequently. I think he just used poor judgement and should have instead perhaps met her in a public setting away from the house, especially because he cannot discount that she might still has feelings for him. I trust him, she "comes up" infrequently but I do take issue with her being alone with him that way, especially because her intentions are unclear at best and she has an immoral nature. I think he should have firmer, more considerate boundaries...seeing her that way puts him at risk for a dodgy situation, could give her the wrong signals and obviously makes me feel a bit upset. What can ghosts do and move? Throughout the past several months living in my new apartment (an older apartment tower that has been newly renovated... we're the first to live in this current unit), I have had a few unusual things happen. About once a month or so, I will wake up to find that my phone has been disconnected from its charging cable. I generally just discount this as not actually having plugged it in when I thought I had. The charger is always connected to the wall, but the connector comes unplugged from the phone... it happens, right? On one occasion, however, I woke up twice during the night to get a drink and found that my phone had been unplugged both times and had to plug it back into the charger. The next morning, it was once again disconnected and the phone died later during the day while I was at work. I took it with a grain of salt, and didn't take it too seriously, even though the phone charges on the opposite side of the bedroom from where I sleep and I know nothing could have unplugged it. What has me startled tonight is what happened this evening while we were watching the fireworks. This afternoon, we were watching TV and eating some snacks when we decided to go downstairs to swim. We swam and then came back upstairs and watched TV a while longer before turning it off and stepping outside to watch the fireworks. After, we stepped back inside and my friend and I decided we wanted to play Nintendo, so I went to set up the system and found that the machine would not turn on... so I checked if it was unplugged, which it was. I first assumed that, sure, we had probably unplugged it to make room for something else to plug in to the power strip behind the media cabinet, as we don't use the Nintendo very often. I easily plugged the cord back into the power strip, though, as there were a least three open outlets. I then plugged the A/V cords into the TV and hit the power button on the TV. The TV would not turn on. I pressed the power button several more times and it would not turn on... I first thought it was broken, then checked to see if it was unplugged like the Nintendo. I checked and it had been unplugged as well. The cord was several inches from its outlet in the power strip. So I plugged it in and it worked fine. Nobody unplugged the TV. We were watching it, went outside, and when we returned inside, it had been unplugged. This happening makes me question the times when my cell phone used to come unplugged as well. Is it possible for a ghost to unplug appliances? I know that ghosts do not have much physical strength in our world but can move and hide things. Should I be worried? Is there anything I should do to communicate with this ghost if there is one?

I want to buy my Mums discounted council house?But...? Me and my boyfriend want to buy my Mums rented council house (which she has lived in for about 28 years-rented). The thing is we want to build an extension on the side of the house (its a 3 bedded semi detached) we will knock the smallest room in the 3 bedroom house into a bathroom for her. And we will build our house on the side but it will still come under the same address as we will still use the same front door and have a door on the side where we will entre the extension (so we still have our own space) Now the thing is a few houses in the area have had extension (very similar to the way we would want ours) but we would need it parallel to the main house. (The houses I have seen have been set back about 2-3 ft) Is there a reason for this or do you think it is just preference? There is a main drain right near where we would need the extension built on - is it possible to move this or as permission to have it moved? Thanks folks for your help.... Merry Christmas!

Bed room set...im looking foward on purchasing any exp? please..? Ok, so i am looking on getting a brand new bedroom set. I went to a store today and one guy is offering me queen size bed, bed frame, chest, drawer with mirror and two night stand's. Real "oak" for $1,300 i convinced him to lower the price from $2,000...im just not to shore about it... I definately know its not compressed or none of that cheap stuff.. but for some reason im kind of doubtful. :( I really dont like the fact that the chest for example...the display...has that like thin wood screwed/attached in the back, u know to cover the dresser. Do all chest/drawers have that stapled or screwed in the back? is that normal? I mean everything else looks decent and my girl friend tells me that its a very good and almost unbeatable sale...n that he seems pretty much desperate to sell!!!. I went to a previous store n another guy was selling me Pine solid wood set with my choice of wood color finish for ($1,414) but not nothing compared to the deal that the other guy is giving me!? (no nightstands, no bed, and with taxes...and supposedly he was giving me a "discount") What you guys think? 140 / 160 GB PS3 Demonstration Mode V3.30 What can I do to permanently get rid of it? I don't want any bull about how its a stolen ps3. My uncle asked me to set it up for him, he got it for free from his brother who he says works for a company who obviously sells ps3's and use floor models. I've looked and I already know about the unlock codes and I've explained to my uncle how that all works but I'm looking for a way to do it permanently. If it were me I'd be pretty ticked off if I had to type in a code every time I turned a system on to use it. That's BULL****. Can I remove the demonstration software, tell him to get a new HDD to use (If that would make a difference?) or can I give it to SONY for either a free system or a discount on one? Thanks for your input, those of you who aren't total Dicks and just trying to tell me it's stolen and a lost cause. Nothing is impossible, just varying degrees of difficulty. Remember that, and maybe you'll get off your computer once in a while and find a life outside your bedroom. The seller of the furniture prepaid the freight of $200. Terms were 2/10 EOM. Assuming Mels pays on November 2nd, what amount would be paid? (Be sure to include freight costs)
