What are some small decorating bedroom ideas a 13 yr old can do ? im not allowed to put anthing on my walls because its a new house.

Decorating a really small bedroom with modern style? Help! I have a small bedroom (maybe 10x11 feet) that I have somehow managed to squeeze a queen bed, a dresser, and an armoire into. I am about to redecorate it, and I want to make it look bigger without using colors I don't like. I really like brown, light or dark, and other warm colors. Red is my second favorite. But I fear that red would overwhelm people in the small space. The floor in my room is carpeted in white, and the ceiling is white, too. I can't change those things. I can paint the walls though. Also-I have an alcove-like space in my room that I don't know what to do with. Any decorating tips for that? Any tips you have on decorating or working around the small space would be great. Thanks! Decorating a small bedroom. Help please? my fiance and I are planning how we are going to furnish and decorate our bedroom. We are going to go look for the suitable furniture tomorrow and we'll buy it if we find what we are looking for. So the bedroom (my fiance's room) is actually a bit too small to be decorated the way I have always wanted to. But I still have a lot on my mind about making this small room a dream bedroom. I want to make this small room look spacious, cosy and romantic at the same time! Help with decorating a small bedroom for a teen? The room is rather small, so a twin bed is the largest possible bed that could fit in this room. Right now, there is the twin bed, 2 small bookshelves, a dresser, and a stand that the t.v. goes on. The room is incredibly crowded and I am trying to redecorate completely. I'm hoping to not only optimize the space, but also to completely change the room decor. The walls are currently pink, and have been for about twenty years. So a change is definitely needed. Okay, so, this room is for a fifteen year old girl. There will HAVE to be either bookshelves, or shelving on the walls, because she loves reading and owns a ton of books. I need help with decorating ideas for a shared bedroom. My three kids will share a small bedroom. Ideas? They will be moving into a 10 x 10 bedroom. They are ages 6,8, and 10...all girls. We will be purchasing the Arts and Crafts "L" shaped loft bed from American Signature Furniture and will put one additional bed underneath. We will be moving into an older home...my kids call it a "cottage". We will be decorating in the Arts and Crafts style and their bed will be a dark stained wood color...like chocolate. Any ideas on decorating? The colors the kids came up with were white, black, and blue. I was thinking of painting one wall chalkboard black so they could have a place to draw. Any other great ideas? I also thought about installing a semi circle rod above the closet door to create a changing space. The other furniture in the room will be one tall (currently white wicker but open to painting) Armour and dresser. Need ideas on how to decorate a small bedroom.? My bedroom is pretty small (although I don't know the exact measurements) and it has a slanted ceiling on the left side of the room. The door and single window are opposite from each other. The ceiling is also pretty low. I like brown, so I was thinking about doing a light brown on two walls and a darker brown on the other two but I don't know what to do with the ceiling because it's slanted. How do I decorate a small bedroom without making it look cluttered? My bedroom is tiny. I have a dark wood queen size bed and a dark wood armor/dresser. My walls are a soft blue/grey, and I have navy curtains. Also, my closet doors have been taken out and replaced with long navy drapes, to open up the space. Small Decorating Dilema.....? Heres the issue. My husband and I are both full time students. Right now we share a small office, it works for us. but this is also my first semester going full time with 16 units. So i feel like i need my own study space so we arent mixing up papers and such. help with small bedroom? k well i have a small bedroom.i just got the room about a year ago. im 14 and i think i need more space. the thing is i cant move stuff around cause my room was custom built EX:there is like a curve in my wall so my bed fits between 2 walls with closets next to the wall. also my room is in the basement so there is a sump pump so we built like a box thing around it which takes up alot of space(i normal put stuff on it like pillows or something so it looks like a chair). so my ques. is what can i do to make my room more organized and not look so small and cluddered. also can you send me links to places i can buy stuff to decorate my room. thanks in advance to anyone who answers!

what is the best way to start decorating a new apt? i just moved into my own apt. it's very small, a kitchen, bedroom, office, living room, bathroom. I want to start decorating but soemtimes i just get so overwhelmed cuz i do not know where to start. This is my first place so im starting from scratch. Should I make the whole apt blend with the the rooms or should each room have it's own theme? Any helpful ideas?

teenage bedroom decorating??? Hi, i just painted my room two different pinks (the room's walls makes a shelf on two of the walls which have strips on the bottom half). i really want to decorate it make it look like a teen lives in it. the room isnt huge but it isnt really small either. I dont have much money so everything has to be kinda cheap too. Any tipes or suggestions would be very helpful!
