Anyone very been to the Embassy Suites- Hotel and Casino in San Juan? A group of people (6) including myself has a room at the Embassy Suites hotel and casino in San Juan a two bedroom suite with one king two full size beds and a sofa sleeper. So the couple will be getting the room, my concerns is that they are trying to charge extra for the extra people. What I was thinking was how will they know if extra people are in the room if only the couple goes to the front desk to check in. Would they really be checking each room or like be checking to see if you are even allow in the hotel. Can anyone give me some info?
Where to buy furniture? I am trying to buy a new bedroom suite (king size) and a new living room suite but do not have a lot of money. Any suggestions of where to look in North Carolina? (I am in Hickory but live close to Greensboro and Charlotte.) Would you suggest financing if that is possible (my credit isn't the best). Please advise.

Can I fit a queen size mattress on a full-size bed (headboard, footboard, rails)? For the last 3 years I've been sleeping on a king size bed and have become pretty spoiled by it. Now my husband and I are going through a divorce. I'll be in a one-bedroom apartment, and instead of taking the king size bed I'll only have room for my grandmother's 1920's heirloom bedroom furniture (don't get me wrong, I adore this bedroom suite). The only problem is I have become spoiled by the larger bed, and my grandma's antique bed I'll be using is a full size. It's a headboard, footboard, with traditional rails. Would it be possible/feasible to use a queen size mattress on this bed? If it won't jimmy in, can anyone think of a non-destructive way to maybe use plywood or something to add a couple of inches for a queen size? Or would it look just downright funny? Any tips, suggestions, etc. would be VERY much appreciated! Just keep in mind I don't want to drill holes or hammer nails into this bed please.

One bedroom penthouse suite...? So, it's a one bedroom.. but is it possible to have 2 queen sized beds instead of a king sized bed??? Just curious... maybe I don't want to share a bed, but fine with sharing a room.
What should I do? What would he think about that? Oh..Gosh? Well, the exciting thing is I'll have a chance to travel with the guy I really like soon - just me and him. We spent a long time to talk online, as we live far away from each other. And because of that, although I know he likes me either, we're still not really in a relationship. We're not familier with the place we're going to, so I'm just searching the hotels online. The problem I'm kinda confused is - What Kind of Room I'd Better to Book? Originally, I wanted to choose a connecting room - 2 bedrooms in one big room, I think that would be the best - but I couldnt find the suitable one, as in those nice hotels, they only have 2 bedrooms suites, which are too big for us and also expensive. But i dont wanna live in 2 different rooms in the same hotel with him - that's no fun! In that case, what I can choose is just 1 room with 1 king-size bed (I'm afraid I'll be nervous to share a bed with him, and I dont know what he will think about that??) or 2 single beds in 1 room - i dont really think that's convenient, but i dont know how to do... he was kidding he doesn't mind to live with an emo girl (Im not really emo though). So any ideas? Mostly what guys prefer if they're gonna travel with the girl they like, still not in a relationship though? Thanks for your answer "Delive - Rance": It's really a surprise for me! I've never expected there would be such a conservative answer! Are you from mid-east? Well, I'm telling you my point - if I person even can't or dare not chase what he / she wants, then how sad... Don't mix my issue with your dirty minds - I bet you have watched too many American movies - everyone knows they are overstated - so forget it.
is this fair? or am i over-reacting? Okay..so to cut a long story short. Ive just moved in with my mum and we've just moved in with her boyfriend and his son. We've finally found a house we like and well its down to deciding who has which bedroom. Our parents are having the master en suite, then there are 3 more rooms: a small double, a medium double, and a slightly larger double with en suite. There is also another bathroom upstairs so we would each have our own bathroom really.. So then its down to deciding who gets the en suite and who gets the other (medium) double. My mums boyfriends son is 21, and im 18 and female.. so its not easy to decide. The son hasn't yet seen the house and hasn't said anything about which room he would like. But his father has.. His dads argument is:. his son is the oldest, and he is up early than me and that way he wouldn't disturb me if he had the en suite. My argument against that is: well the bathroom for the other bedroom isn't near the en suite bedroom or the master, its next to the other 2 bedrooms. My argument to the whole situation is: i'm a student, im at college 16 yours a week and the rest of my time is spent at home, studying in my bedroom. His son leaves the house at 6.30am comes home at 4, then goes to the gym until 6.30, so he is never in..when he is in he watches tv in the living room then goes to bed. I have a king size bed and need a desk..plus wardrobe... this would fit tightly in the smaller of the two larger rooms.. also, my boyfriend who lives in spain comes and visits every 2nd weekend (this doesn't make too much difference).. yes i am younger, but still.. What do you think? Do you think his dad is thinking fairly? I don't wanna be selfish but i do want to have space to study and things without being disturbed.. i guess for me its more about the size of the rooms rather than the en suite though that does make that room more likable! Well my mum and i turned up at the new house today after college to find that my mums bf and son had been and put all my furniture in the smaller room... i find it so disrespectful...they only put that furniture in the house no other, just to make sure his son gets the room i guess...Why im i starting to feel unwanted in the family? :( .. my mum is pretty peeved too!
How can I personalise my bedroom? Well we've been living in this house 4 ages now, and my mum keeps saying she isn't gonna get any decoration cause we're still renting! my room has a king size bed with a white butterfly duvet and a bedside lamp (my mum finally got 1) I can't be like any other teen and live in a tidy mess, my mum always makes me or cleans my room and it looks SOOOOO boring and white my closet isn't even in tht room :O there's 1 but its rly small, also have an en suite bathroom rly boring as well, oh and I do have posters but they don't make a huge difference.what can I do to change things up a bit, cause whatever I do my mum 'tidies' meaning ruins everything, so pissed offf so any ideas? Xxxx
Get answers from millions of real people.? I want to paint my bedroom walls. My bed is king size brass. I have a white blind and sheers on my window. My furniture is dark brown. Desperately need some help getting my daughter in her own room!!!!!? I am not looking to force her to STTN, but I am in desperate need of her to sleep in her own room. Once again (second time) she fell out of our bed (king sized, 3 feet in the air). she is fine (mommy was almost physically ill), but this needs to stop, ASAP! She is 9.5 months old (also, please spare me any lectures on co-sleeping, seriously the last thing I want to hear now) She is still nursed at night when she wakes (a few times a week), and CIO is not an option for us, nor would it work for her, she is a stubborn little mule. She can be dead to the world asleep and as SOON as I set her down in the crib she wakes up and starts screaming! I CANNOT, repeat, CANNOT take our bed apart and put it on the floor, it is a huge bedroom suite and there is no room to store it even if we did take it apart! Please, does anyone have any tips we can try? Again, CIO option is not wanted, I am not a fan! you know what voice?? you can shove it up your azz!!!!! I'm not a sadistic b!tch like you I guess!
How can I convince my mom to give me my own bedroom? I am a girl, 20 years old, living at home, and I have to share a room with my 16-year-old step-sister. I used to have my own room, and my little sister shared a room with our step-sister, and our two step-brothers had their own room. My little sister (at the time 16) complained that she wanted her own room, so I agreed to try it for a while. Now that we've moved stuff, she refuses to move back and my mom says it's only fair that she gets her own room (which I can see, because I had my own for a while). However, now my sister (age 18) is living at college 4 hours away and she still has her own room in our house, even though she is never there. Also, our two step-brothers are both off at college (one the same age as my sister, the other about to graduate and live on his own) so their room is vacant as well (also if they do visit, it's for maybe 2-3 nights out of the YEAR). My step-sister (actually common-law step-sister, since my mom and her boyfriend of 10 years are not married) comes from her mother's house to our house every Wednesday night, and every other weekend. She and I do get along (recently not as much, for reasons I will not get into) but she always has something to complain about in regards to something I want in the room that she doesn't. She is also very messy and with my ADHD and Asperger's it stresses me out to the point where I sometimes break down and cry to my mother, but she never does anything about it. The reason the boys' room is "out of the question" is because their father (my mom's bf) says he wants them to feel like they have a place to return to when they do come home. However, when they are here, they are always in the living room or at the table on their computers. My mother's bf has another room in the basement with a king-sized bed that he uses to do music, but at night (the only time the boys would need a place to sleep) the room is available, yet my mom's bf refuses to have the boys sleep in his room. So they have rooms at college, one almost with his own house, a room at their mother's house, and a room at my house. My sister has a suite in her college dorm in New York City, loves her roommate, and still gets her own room at home that she never uses. I am home all day, my mom complains that I am ruining the couch cushions because I sit in weird positions (I ripped her $80 cover and the new one she just got is starting to rip) and her bf complains that the TV is too loud and always makes me turn it off. He also refuses to make the boys' room into a TV room because of the whole "making them feel welcome" thing. I am not allowed to have cable in my (shared) room because my step-sister (like her brothers and father) is a no-TV Nazi, which makes me especially mad (they complain whenever the TV is on, even if I just watch one show after having it turned off all day like on the weekends) because I want to be an animation/concept artist and TV is like studying for me. I only watch a few cartoons and Dr. Phil and Judge Judy (no reality shows or anything they consider "garbage") How can I convince my mom that everyone in the house would benefit from me just having my own room? She is considering cable for my room, but it would be virtually useless if I am still sharing the room with my step-sister. I think if it were up to her, she would see it my way, but her boyfriend is very adamant about having everything the way he wants it, with no compromises, and he will not talk directly to me when he has a problem, he always makes my mother do his bidding. He is a controlling and condescending person (making remarks under his breath) and my mother is very naive and easily manipulated by him. He and I used to be friends until I had to take a medical withdrawal from college due to an anxiety disorder. Since then, he has been snarky, and his daughter (who I am sharing a room with, and who used to be my best friend) is following in his footsteps and making rude remarks (I try to tell her I don't like that, but she just gets defensive, so I try to ignore it). My mother's bf has had depression so I should think that he of all people would understand what I am going through, but instead he just looks down on me for having the same issues he had. I was very supportive of him (he and my little sister have never gotten along) but now he has literally given up on me as a person. I try to tell my mother and she doesn't do anything about it, even though she says she will (I left school last fall). I wanted to go to art school (I am a very talented artist) but my little sister said I was not worth the money it cost, and now I am overly self-conscious about being a financial burden. I just want to feel welcome in my own home, because now it's like everyone disapproves of me no matter what I do, which of course adds to my stress and anxiety. Therapists have been of no help, so don't suggest t I have tried moving out, I lived in Japan for a month and I was an emotional wreck without any human contact. I did enjoy being on my own for the most part, and that's why I feel a room in my mom's house that would simulate a one-bedroom apartment and give me space away from everyone when I need it would be perfect for me.
I want to go to a hotel and have the master suite? I want to go to a hotel in San Antonio, TX. It is my birthday so I want the best hotel with the best view, the best services, child friendly (my lil sis), and the best room in the hotel. I have to book online and I can't find one that has a picture of the best room in the hotel. Can you give me a link to a hotel where there is a picture of the master suite that is available from April 29- May 3? Like a really big room with a king+ size bed (or a queen, either one), a huge bathroom (if possible), the bedroom and the first room you see when you walk in is separate from the bedroom, the hotel isn't close to the Alamo ( I searched and found this hotel that was right across from the Alamo and on our field trip to the Alamo we woke someone up there and it is next to a battle ground) or any other battle places, the hotel has a restaurant, an maybe even a pool? Whatever. SO, PLEASE!!!!!!!! There are going to be at least one person on a roll-a-way bed or if you an't find one with a king or queen, it can be two beds that are smaller. Thanks! Also, I don't want a snooty, rich person hotel like the people that go there are like, I just bought a new boat and just as I was about to go on it, a bird pooped on the windshield so I just sunk it! I don't like those kinds of people. Thanks again!
would you read my sloppy copy for english? please and thank you? My Dream House My dream house will be a masterpiece, full of beauty. It will contain a grand family room, a gorgeous dining room, connected to a stainless steal appliance kitchen and the master suite, which will be my favorite room. My family room is grand. My brick fireplace, placed in from of my comfy cream rap round couch. Above my fireplace, hanging on the cream colored wall is a forty-inch Samsung flat screen TV. In the corner of the family room is my blue fluffy and comfy recliner, which was bought for my father when he comes to visit. The best thing about this room is the popcorn Machine, you can pop some popcorn before you watch a movie and then you can sit down with a big bowl of it. Connected to my flat screen is my V.C.R my D.V.D player and my movie projector. This allows us to play any type of movie, at any given time. The speakers built into the walls, and underneath the couch allows the surround sound to shake the house and to invite you into whatever movie you are watching. The flooring of the family room is a oak hardwood, with brown and beige area rugs, which I would place in front of the couch. On the left wall there is a window about three feet by three feet, with beige, cream, and brown curtains. This window allows just enough light in to lighten up the room. My family room will feel welcoming as soon as I open up the front door to let you in, you will feel warm, and comforted by the love my home will bring. My gorgeous dining area is a romantic place to eat, while it contains a beautiful chandelier above the chestnut ding table, which can place up to eight people. Most of the light comes from an enormous six-foot window with cherry red curtains, which is located at the fare end of the room, facing the back yard. My old faded chestnut grandfather clock was bought from an antique auction; I placed it opposite of the archway in, which you come into the dining room from the kitchen. The kitchen is a fun stainless steal appliance kitchen with stainless steal counters too. The details in my kitchen will be extravagant with hand towels having pictures of apples on them, and my fridge even having apple shaped magnets. The cream tiled flooring is heated throughout, so when you making a pot of coffee in the morning your little toes will still stay warm. The best thing about my kitchen will be the window above the sink with curtains that contain apples on it. But if you don’t want to take your time to decorate and set up the table in the dining room you can just sit down and enjoy dinner, lunch, breakfast, in your kitchen at you finished oak table that holds a family of four, and the lighting overhead is a ceiling fan with an oak finish and energy conserved lights. The master suite is full of relaxing in my Jacuzzi and lighting the fireplace to enjoy a warm bathroom. In my master bathroom I have heated cream tiled floors with light blue area rugs. There are no windows in my bathroom because my bathroom is all-full of privacy. The fireplace in my bathroom is wonderful; it is one of the ways it keeps my bathroom warm in the winter. The toilet and shower are on the same wall, and my Jacuzzi is right on the other side of the wall, which contain s the two bathroom sinks and gigantic mirror in which I placed a light fixture above. My bed is right there too the best thing is, is that you can locate my bathroom from the hallway and my bedroom. So, my bed is king sized with oak finished nightstand, dresser, and the frame for my bed. While I lay there at night I can watch TV on the flat screen, and listen with my surround sound. My fireplace is placed right under my flat screen, and my cream area rug right in front of that. The lighting in my room are the lamps, and the ceiling light. They are LED so then I can save a little money and have a brighter room. So I think that the master suite is my favorite place to be, cuddled up in my covers all day long with a fire going and watching TV with Tivo. My dream house will be the best place to be and I will love it forever, since its what I have always dreamed of. let me know what i need to correct, and what is good, tell me what to redo and how to fix. and let me know whether or not the conclusion is long enough. and whether or not the pareagraghs are good. i am a freshman in high school. so help me if you can please:)
Will anyone review my story? If you could, I would very much appreciate it. I would like to know what people think of my writing. Here goes: There was a warm breeze; even when I stepped off the plane and into Maui Kapalua international. My stomach was somehow connected to my head in the sense of overwhelm. It was so weird; yesterday I stood next to a rabbi in a flowing white dress and Jon smashed a cup, whereas the crowd yelled "L'Chayim!". We danced and drank and I remember being pulled up in a chair next to him. It was wonderful. I remember getting home and wanting him so much but knew I would have him for myself tomorrow night. It was longing. Jon squeezed my hand as we rode down the escalator to baggage claim where our bags rode an escalator themselves. It was a silence; but not the bad kind. It was the kind of silence that you knew would be eventually broken by something wonderful. We walked outside to the humid tropical air. Jon was on his cell phone talking to the taxi company. “Damn taxi,” Jon cursed. He shook his head in the frustrated funny way. I laughed. After thirty Hawaiian minutes, the taxi finally came and drove us to the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa. There was a large fountain in front of the granite brick fancy country club looking building. We checked in at a large lobby with quite a few palm trees and a large golden desk where a muscular Polynesian man sat. I followed Jon down the hall, up the elevator to the floor with all the suites. He slid the card in the slider and held my breath waiting for the door to click open. It didn’t work. “Seriously?” Jon said. I laughed at his annoyance. “Here, let me try.” I slid the card in and of course, the door clicked open. Jon carefully opened the door to our honeymoon suite. I stared in absolute shock at the suite that was filled with vanilla-jasmine scented candles surround the entire kitchen and living room. I dropped my bag in astonishment. All of the sudden soft slow music came on. Jon smiled. “Do you like it?” I was too shocked. I walked into the bedroom where a window pained the view of the moon over the Pacific Ocean; and there a king-sized lay. Red rose petals lay on the bed in the shape of a heart. In the middle was a letter. I picked it up –hands shaking- and began to read: Mrs. Graft- It's finally here. I wouldn’t want to be anyone else but my gorgeous flawless wife. Let the rest of our lives begin now. Jon “What do you think?” Jon asked. I slowly walked over slowly and silently. I paused for a moment and then kissed him. Kissed him in the most passionate way you could think of -legs around his waist, arms around him- and it began. I pulled off his shirt as he took off mine and landed on the bed in doing so. I could feel the moon rays laying there watching with knowing eyes at me and Jon; destiny. The sudden nervous feel melted into passion and desire. I couldn’t take my arms off of him; emotions towered over my physical being. I couldn’t stop finding the strongest way to show how much I loved him- something he would never know. His scent was irresistible; something mixed with lemon and pine trees. It happened then, the moon rays dancing, the waves crashing, the warm breeze sighed off somewhere, where Jon let in. It was a pain at first –one that didn’t hurt- but as it continued pleasure and loud moans took over. It was excruciating, like two paths had crossed and were paved into a single one. It ended and we lay there gasping for air. I didn’t want it to stop. We gazed there at each other like two people who had just been told a big exciting secret. I was a neon-lit sign ready and alive as anything. I then perched my head on his defined shoulder and whispered: “I love you.”
swapping rooms with my dad? I really want to move from my small bedroom into my dads room.. His room is so nice, its perfect for me. its got an en suite and a huge built in wardrobe. As a 17 year old girl, i have so many clothes, accessories and i need a lot of space. its so hard trying to get things done in my room as its so small and i have a king size bed. My dad owns about 5 items of clothing and is never home. I never invite friends around because its too hard for them to move in my room. He is giving me a definate no but what do you all think?
My mother-in-law recently passed away and left her house to the kids. We are thinking about remodeling it? while the market is still down and listing it after the market picks up. Here are my questions: 1) What type of flooring are people preferring in the common areas (living room, dining room) in the Salt Lake City area? I say hardwood, my husband thinks that the almost brand new plush carpeting is just fine. I thought plush carpeting was really old-school now. 2) This is a large 6,000 square foot home that has very spacious living areas but tiny bedrooms. It is currently a 5 bedroom house. Even the master is tiny. There is just enough room for a king-sized bed, two night stands and a dresser with just enough room left over to walk around the bed. I have heard that bedrooms sell homes. If we enlarged the master, we would have to take out two additional bedrooms, making it a 3 bedroom home. Should we keep the bedrooms or make a nice master suite. No, the master suite would not be too big if we should remodel it. 3) We are planing on the re-do mentioned above as well as turning 2 baths into one large-ish master bath. We will also paint, redo the flooring and update the 70's kitchen. On the second story, we plan on enlarging 2 small bedrooms, painting, redoing the flooring bringing the bathroom out of the '70's and updating the 2nd floor kitchen. My question is this: Can we be expecting to recoup our costs when we finally do list it, or would it be better to sell as-is? I've heard that re-do's such as this only recoup about 70% of the costs. However, we could also look at this as a flip where a lot of money is made. 4) There is a VERY large family room upstairs which we could divide in half and put another bedroom in. Good idea or not? 5) When we redo the master, we would have a small office(?) space left over. Would a 7X10 room be sufficient for the office. Addtl info: This is in a very upscale neighborhood. There is a 4 car garage and a small but beautiful back yard and deck. What other upgrades should we make to the house that I am not considering? Thank you. BTW, please don't tell me to contact a real estate agent. We are listing with one who just left on a 3 week vacation today, so he can't come and give his opinion on the house until mid Oct. First floor: Huge living room and formal dining room, huge kitchen (badly laid out), large breakfast nook, large laundry, formal foyer, 3 small berooms (including master) 2 small bathrooms, 4 car garage. Second floor: 2 small bedrooms, one small bathroom, a small kitchen, one ENORMOUS family room which right now is arranged into 3 separate "living room" areas. Seriously, there is a LOT of room up there to enlarge one of the bedrooms, create a small dining area AND make a separate living room and family room.
Looking for a hotel near Milwaukee, WI where we can get 2 beds and a 4-person hot tub? We are looking for a hotel near Milwaukee, WI where we can get 2 king size beds and a 4-person hot tub in the room. It would be great if it was a suite - where there are two separate bedrooms with a door between, but it's the same room or suite, that shares a 4 person hot tub. The closest thing I found was that LaQuinta has a suite that sleeps three and has a 2-person hot tub, but unfortunately that doesn't sound like it will be what we need. Any ideas?
What is your opinion on my book so far? Basically my book is about the 'Underside' of the world which was created by an undocumented World War. In which the World was not yet split into Countries, and was just two large land masses - The West World and the East World.- The East being greedy side, used a slight violation of World Law as a a façade to invade the West in a bout for gold. The war raged on for 30 years until The West lost. And in a last ditch agreement they dug thousands of feet into the earth, ( I know there is supposed to be a core and magma, but it turns out all of that is just propaganda used to disguise the existence of the Underside) Now two thousand and five hundred years in the future The Top Side has completely forgotten about the Underside, but the Underside still remembers the merciless assault by the Ancestors of those that live above, and have be planning their revenge since day one. But it seems that the two were destined to meet again, as the Top Side has run out of resources and are digging dangerously close to their counterparts down under. The Story itself is written from the Point of view of the Two Main Characters, From the Underside there is Valden (Whose name I would like to change) And on the Top Side there is Mathew. Both of them will have to team to try and prevent WWIV (It's 4 because I included the first one thousands of years ago.) MATHEW: CHAPTER ONE Mathew looked over the balcony of his penthouse suite. Observing, reading the patterns of the city, the thousands of blinking lights, friends smiling back at him. New York was a city that never slept and for that he loved her, she understood the dilemma of not being able to sleep. “Mat... your still up?” It was Mary, his girlfriend of two years, one of the only people who knew the person behind the exterior of his silence that covered him like a shield. To Mathew she was the most beautiful girl in the world, and lots of other guys thought so. Her brunette hair was long and flowing, her body supple and eloquent, her curves hand painted by god. Well at least that’s what he told people. You’d have to meet her in person to fully understand. But one thing that couldn’t be exaggerated was her perfect circular, smooth gold eyes. “You know the doctor said you should sleep more, and I’m worried you’ll hurt yourself.” Her voice like chocolate, soft and sweet, he knew that voice well, only when Mary felt generally worried over something. “I’m fine, really I am. You need to stop worrying about me all the time.” Even to him it sounded hollow, his voice tired and weary as he stifled a yawn. Very slowly he could feel her arms sliding up his arm and around his neck, her hands felt smooth like silk. Gently she pressed herself against him, and pulled him inside. Inside the penthouse was cosy but extravagant, in the hallway the ground was a lush red carpet and the rest of the room white marble tiles. The bedroom was spectacular; it was square with a 50’ flat screen in the wall and a king sized temperpedic, two mahogany drawers and a walk-in-wardrobe behind the TV. On the right wall there were two neat bookshelves and in the corner his sporting equipment. And finally the left side, the humongous sliding doors that led out unto his balcony. Currently he was on his back, Mary lying on top of his back rubbing in between his shoulders blowing on his ears, in nothing but her underwear. She wants something, the small voice screamed in the back of his mind, but that voice was a long, long way away and his current voice was something very different. “Mat...” she whispered in his ear. His mind was completely gone and all logic gone with the wind, all he could manage as a reply was a small grunt. “Will you go with me to the three day flower festival in Virginia Pleeassseee?” “Yeah... yeah...” he muttered. In a flurry he processed everything she said. Three days. Virginia. Flower Convention. She couldn’t love him enough or pay him enough. “Hold up! No way am I going!” But he regretted the words the instant he uttered them, as the gold pools of her eyes began to water. Crocodile tears he convinced himself. Hold strong he told himself, and then he caved. “Fine I’ll go with you.” And like night and day the tears were gone and Mary smiled, she’d played him good. “And remember you made a promise, we have to leave tomorrow. I already packed your suitcase and prepared food for the road.” Mat also knew that tone of voice, her I’m not changing my mind tone. He clapped off the sound sensitive lights and tried to nod off as Mary snuggled in beside him, his black skin like camouflage in the night her chocolate brown giving of a soft glow. If Any of you have any suggestions for Character name changes please let me know, because I find Valden weird and Mary rather Bland.
House move with Luton van? We are planning a move soon but need to do the move our self. We are moving from a rented property where all the white goods are built in and all the bedrooms have built in wardrobes so we don't have any of that to take. We can only drive a Luton/box van on our license so I am panicking that we won't fit everything in. It's and eight hour drive so more than one trip is not really an option. This is what we need to fit in,( all beds and the table will be taken down so they are flat) , 1 king size bed, 1 double bed, 1 bunk beds, 2 bedside tables,1 chest of draws,1 dining table and 4 chairs,3 piece suite, 1 side table and 1 TV unit PlusI'm guessing about 6 large boxes of toys/plates eetc Opinions please!!!
Why did I get Fired on my first day? Before judging me, please read my entire question. I got hired to work in some offices in Florida, and was very excited as they were going to pay all my living expenses, hotel and food plus salary. All of this was very neat, and I would be staying for 2 months before returning home and going back to school. When I arrived at my hotel, I was expecting a nice large layout similar to the pictures I saw online. Instead I opened the doors to a studio-style apartment, with a Queen Sized bed (not King like I had hoped), a 37" flatscreen TV (not 42 like advertised), and only a regular couch and not a sofabed. I did some more research to find out that the company had booked me in the studio and NOT 1 bedroom hotel room, and that I apparently was in one of the smaller suites. Despite a fridge, dishwasher, big microwave and daily housekeeping, I was not satisfied that I was in a smaller living space that I had dreamed of. When I got to the first day of my job, I asked to speak to my boss- who had arranged all of this. He seemed very happy to see me, but his face turned sour when I began asking why I couldn't be put in a larger hotel room then the one they were paying for. He politely told me that they were covering everything for 2 months, and that it should be satisfactory. I snapped back that I had looked up the website, and that I was in a smaller suite, AND that I had a Queen bed and not a King- and why they couldn't have at least given me the King one. Well that did it apparently. I was told to pack my bags that evening and that I was fired. They wouldn't get into an explanation though. Some woman from human resources called my cubicle an hour after my tantrum and told me I was being let go. I tried emailing the company and my boss, but I have not heard back. Why did this happen? My parents weren't too pleased either when I rang their doorbell that night with a very much needed place to stay. I tried telling them about my circumstances, but they refused to listen- telling me I was a moron for ruining such a great opportunity. So much for spending some time in Florida. Thoughts on why this happened? And be honest- they could have given me better hotel living spaces if they wanted.
One bedroom penthouse suite...? So, it's a one bedroom.. but is it possible to have 2 queen sized beds instead of a king sized bed??? Just curious... maybe I don't want to share a bed, but fine with sharing a room.
would you read my sloppy copy for english? please and thank you? So I think that the master suite is my favorite place to be, cuddled up in my covers all day long with a fire goi

please read this story i wrote. By a 6th grader? Hollywood Troubles “Hhhhh, Julia sighed. It’s just another day, another ordinary day” Julia Lintheart was staring out her window, looking at the warm summer day. There were blue skies, green grass, you’d think it be perfect. But no. She was in a dismal mood. “Why should I be the only one not having fun? She thought to herself. “It’s just not fair”. Julia sighed once again as she stroked her long brown hair that draped around her right shoulder with her soft, pale hands. Julia was mad because she was the only one who hadn’t done adventurous over the summer. Time was running out only 3 weeks before the 9th grade. She had to something that she could remember the 8th grade summer by and something everyone else would remember her, Julia, by. Julia went downstairs into the kitchen of her medium sized home. The kitchen was a light tan color, with oak wood cabinets. There was a stainless steel oven, dishwasher and microwave. Her mother was loading dishes into the dishwasher as she came downstairs. “Well, we have to go pick up your little sister Rose from her friend, Lavender’s house”, her mother replied holding a white plate. “Do I have to come? Why can’t I say home with Dad? Er, wait Dad’s never home”, Julia said in a quiet tone, “He’s always on some tour, I just keep forgetting. “ As a rookie film producer he is very busy, but he’s quite good at it. He seems to have a knack for it. “I know, but it’s been two whole months. Sometimes I just wish he could come home. “We all do, Jules”, he mother said wiping her hands on the white towel. Was this remark supposed to make her feel better? Because she didn’t feel any better. In fact she felt sadder. ”Anyway, Julia you have to come.” “Why can’t I stay home? I’m old enough”, Julia inquired. “I know Julia but you have to go shopping you need clothes for fall. In case you are wondering Julia had already bought clothes for the winter last week. Julia wanted to roll her blue eyes but kept herself from doing so. Instead she said “whats wrong with the clothes I have”, glancing down at her dark blue jeans and her ABERCROMBIE t-shirt. Almost instantaneously her obsessive-shopping mother answered. “Your jeans are ripped, they’re too old and--- Julia cut her mother off. “Old. What do you mean old! 3 weeks ago, that’s old”! “Julia you are going shopping and that’s final”, her mother replied in a stern voice. Julia groaned. “When are we going?” “Half an hour” she answered. Julia went back up the spiral stair case and into her bedroom. Her bedroom was a light blue color. There was a twin sized bedroom that was right in the middle of her room. She walked on the soft carpet of her bedroom. She layed on her tootsie roll pillow. A raindrop fell on her window. It started to sprinkle outside. The blue skies turned gray. Julia didn’t know what to do. “Jules come on 1et’s go”, her mother called putting on her black trench coat. Julia dragged her feet down the steps. She went to the entrance hall of her home. She put her tennis shoes on and grabbed the black umbrella. Julia and her mother walked out the front door , and hopped into the silver minivan. Her mother backed out of the drive way. “Julia?” Her mother asked. “Yeah”, she answered. Mrs. Lintheart took a deep breath. “I-I just got off the”, she faltered. How do I put this nicely”? Julia, I just got off the phone with dad. We’re moving”. ~CHAPTER 2~ A million questions raced through her mind. Where are we moving? When are leaving? Why are we going? What are my friends going to think? “I’m sorry”, Mrs. Lintheart said apologetically. Julia didn’t know why he mother was so sorry. She wasn’t so mad herself. “Should I be mad”? She asked her mother. “No. Not at all, I just didn’t know how you were going to react”, she answered turning around a curb. “Where are we going?” Julia asked rather excited. “Hollywood”, her mother replied. Julia’s eyes widened and her jaw dropped. “What did you say?” “Well”, Mrs. Lintheart started. Your father has a role opening, and he needs a girl about your age. If you get it were staying at least till the movie is over. If you don’t we’re going to keep your father company. At this point Julia stopped listening. She didn’t need to be told anything more. She knew where this conversation was going. “So does this mean I get to be a star”? She asked being her curious self. “Actually no. You have to complete the auditions first.” She said adjusting her rearview mirror. Julia was a bit disappointed but was determined. They pulled into a driveway. “Oh and Jules, it’s best not to tell Rose about this”. The rain fell harder by the second. Julia sighed once again, but this time a good sigh. A sigh that meant I’m ready. Ready to be a star. She could picture herself. A millionaire, being pampered, and having the best life ever. Julia opened the car door. She opened the umbrella. They walked up the long driveway and rang the doorbell. Ding-Dong. A tall looking mother opened the door. Julia gaped at the sight of the house. From the outside you’d think it was a normal house, but it wasn’t. The foyer was huge. It had a ceiling so high it seemed like it was endless. There was a bright chandelier that came down almost blinding to the naked eye. The walls had a light gold design. “Oh my”, the tall women said pointing to the window. “It looks terrible out there”. “I know some weather”, Julia’s mother agreed. “Mom, mom, mom”, came Lavendar, Rose’s best friend. “Can Rose stay a bit longer?” “Only if it’s O.K with Rose’s mother”, Lavendar’s mother said with a chuckle. Julia glanced up at her mothers and gave her one of her I-don’t-want-to-stay-at-a-6 year old-house looks. Mrs. Lintheart patted Julia on her shoulder and smiled. One of her only-for-tonight-smiles. Perfect, Julia thought. I am wasting my time at a 6 year olds house. As Lavendar and Rose chatted away Mrs. Anderson (Lavendar’s mom) offered Julia and her mother some tea or coffee. They both politely refused by saying “no thank you”. The 3 went into the living room. Julia had already adjusted to the Anderson’s immense house but that did not change the fact that it was huge. In the living room the walls were a deep reddish-maroon color. There was a 72 inch plasma screen that stood there ready to be used. “Why don’t you have a seat”, Mrs. Anderson told Julia. “oh wait, would you rather go to home theater?” Julia smiled. “Oh that won’t be necessary”, Julia’s mother answering for her. Julia reluctantly gave a slight nod of her head. “Mom, why would you say something like that? Of course, I would rather watch a movie than listen to adults talk, she thought to herself. Julia was mad at her mother. “Oh well, she while thinking of all her unanswered questions. At 6:30 pm Julia’s mother decided that it was time to go home. “Lavendar, Rose” Mrs. Anderson called from the bottom of the deep blue colored carpet. They came sprinting down the steps. “Mommy”, I don’t want Rose to leave, Lavendar whined. “I’m afraid they’ve got to”, Mrs. Anderson said. She opened the door. By this time it was raining very hard. BOOM, they heard thunder. They saw a flash it was lightening. “Whoa”, Rose said. “It doesn’t seem to safe out there, you’re welcome to stay with us for the night”, Mrs. Anderson offered. “OH thank you we don’t have much of a choice, really” Mrs. Lintheart said. Julia couldn’t believe her ears. Was this really happening? No. No way. Not if she could help it. Julia gave her mother another one of her “looks”. Her mother gave her one of her “smiles”. “Only for tonight”, she added just in case Julia couldn’t understand her smile. “Ughhhhhh”, Julia thought in her mind. All this time Julia was trying to focus on the positive. O.k. I said trying. Lavendar was talking to Rose about how they have so many rooms, so they could sleep. The five went to the living room and turned the 72 inch television on to the weather channel. “We are looking at severe thunderstorms throughout the Chicago area”, the reporter announced. Julia would rather walk home in the rain than stay. She went upstairs with the adults and overheard that Rose would be sleeping in Lavendar’s bedroom and Julia and her mother would be staying in one of the three guest bedrooms. Mrs. Anderson showed them there room. It was like all the other rooms. Big. As you have probably comprehended by now Julia must dread in despair through the night. Fine. O.K. Well, I guess it’s not that bad. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter ehat you and I think, it’s up to Julia. I just write it down. They went back down stairs. “Oh dear”, Mrs. Anderson said looking directly at Rose. You must be starving. Do you want to eat something? “No, I’m not hungry; Rose replied in her high pitched voice, I want to play with Lavendar. Lavendar followed by Rose then Julia, and then the adults into the playroom. The playroom had a mini ball pit, a play slide, and lots of books mainly fairy tales. Ii also had pink and white striped walls. The grown-ups laughed and smiled. Suddenly the lights went out. It was pitch black. ~CHAPTER 3~ Mrs. Anderson could find her path through the criss-crossing hallway, down the steps, and into the room that contained the flashlight. She pressed the on button and a yellow beam of color shot out. The silver flashlight illuminated everything in its way. Anita Anderson walked up the steps, back through the criss-crossing, and into the playroom. As she entered the playroom she noticed two little bodies curled up on the play mats. Their eyes were shut tight and you could hear snoring. Mrs. Lintheart whispered something into Mrs. Anderson’s ear. Instantaneously, Anita walked out of the room and then came back in. Her arms were full of multi-colored sleeping bags. Julia was furious at once but kept her anger to herself. She wanted to atleast sleep on the bed. Julia’s mother helped unroll each of the five different color sleeping bags. Julia slipped into her red one , taking off her sweatshirt and placing it beside her. Julia had to admit she was a bit tired, although it was only 15 past eight. She closed her eyes, adjusted her pillow, and fell off into a deep sleep. She dreamt of pleasant dreams. “Hollywood”, she quietly murmured in her sleep. She was picturing herself getting the part, becoming a millionaire…you get the rest. The rest of her dreams were put to an end by the voice of her mother. “Juls”, she said quietly standing next to Julia. Time to get up” Julia rubbed her eyes, and stretched her legs as she sat up straight in her “bag”. She walked out yawning. She rolled it up into a neat ball. Julia realized that there were four empty sleeping bags beside her. She picked up her sleeping bag and followed her mother downstairs. She was to drowsy to speak. Lavendar and Rose were making a loud din chasing each other around the kitchen. Julia could smell the aroma of fresh blueberry pancakes being made. Julia loved pancakes. She sat down at the large maple wood table as two pancakes were placed in front of her. She was starving so she devoured them, but in a neat way. * * * * * * * * * ~Later that evening~ Julia had gotten back to her home. Julia was wondering what the auditions were going to be like and what she had to do to get the part. “Briing, briiiing”, the phone rang. She ran into the master bedroom and picked up the black phone. “Hello”, Julia called into the phone. “Juls, is that you?”, her dad asked “Yeah it’s me”, she said puzzled. “Who are you”? “Your daddy”, her dad replied. Julia gasped at these words. She couldn’t even recognize he fathers voice. He was touring Spain for ideas. “ Hi”. “ Honey, your just the person I wanted to talk to. I bet your mother has already told you about”, he paused. “Hollywood”, Julia finished for him squirming with joy. Her dad took a deep breath. “Um er about that, we need a girl for the part”, he started talking faster as he went along. Youre perfect for the part. I asked the producer and he said maybe. He aslso said that me being the director can’t do with anything with you getting the part. Anyway, you still have to audition a couple of lines. There aren’t many people competing for it. 16 including you to be exact. But you don’t have to move to Hollywood, you don’t even have to try out for the part if you don’t want to. “Dad, Julia started. I want to do everything you just mentioned. I want to move, get the part and become rich.“Just one question. What’s it about?” “Ah”, can’t tell you. “Huh”?, Julia asked baffled. “Show biz policy. You have exactly 24 hours to rehearse for the auditions. Julia gawked. “ So you are saying that I have 1 day practice”? “That’s right”, he answered casually. Then everything got quiet. A mysterious quiet. A chilling quiet. “Julia”, he whispered. Then he hung up. ~CHAPTER 4~ Julia pressed the round black button to off the phone. “What was that all about”? she wondered. She had so much to get ready for. Could she do it? Julia had no idea what the movie was about. Julia walked into the family room. It had two beige colored couches and a T.Vimon. She found Rose watching Bob the Builder. IT had just started so the theme song was playing. “Bob the Builder. Can he fix it? The T.V yelled. “Bob the builder. Yes he can!! Rose chimed in. “Rose, can I please watch now”? Julia asked as she turned her head away from the obnoxious show. “Nope”, Rose replied with her eyes still glue to the television. Julia didn’t bother arguing with her younger sister. So, she went upstairs to her bedroom and got out her pink cell phone. She called her two best friends Ally, and Nicole cell. Ally is a long haired blonde who loved nothing more than a good old adventure. Julia and Ally were alike because they both liked an adventure, but Ally was far more daring. I guess you could call her a risk taker. “Hey ally”, Julia called into the phone “ It’s Julia”. “Oh hey” Ally said. “Over the last few days I heard really big news. You know how my dad’s a film director and all”, Julia asked. “Yeah”, Ally replied wondering why her best friend was telling her something she already knew. “They have a part open, and I’m auditioning”, Julia squeaked. The two of them screamed with excitement. “When are you going”? Ally asked unable control her curiosity. “3 weeks, I could try to invite you. If you’d like”, she added. There was a slight pause in which Ally was thinking. Thinking about the “movie”. Was this really going to happen? “3 weeks”, she repeated. You do know what’s happening in 3 weeks, right? Julia was stunned. Here she was telling Ally the best news of her life so far but all she could about was school! “School, so”, Julia asked. “I can’t skip school”, Ally said rather mean. “I’m sorry, I am not trying to brag or anything”, Julia said. “I know”, Ally said back in her soft voice. “Bye”, Julia said. “Bye”, Ally said. Julia lied against her tootsie roll pillow. She looked out of her window. There was little light still shinning through them. Julia called Nicole. Nicole was the least adventurous. Unlike Julia and Ally, Nicole preferred to be “out of danger”. She liked adventures but if there was a slim chance of her getting in trouble she was out. Somehow she had always been dragged along. She was ind of short compared to the others, and had short brown hair. They continued their conversation for a while. This time it had gone much smoother. ~CHAPTER 5~ Days turned into weeks of boredom. One week until the big move. Ally invited Nicole and Julia over to her house. They greeted each other at the crisp white door. They went to Ally’s room. IT was messy. Clothes were on the ground along with her CD’s of her favorite bands: Daughtry and Maroon 5. There were school books scattered here and there. IN conclusion it was messy. Ally cleared a spot on the colorful bed and motioned for the two of them to sit down. “So Juls” Nicole started. “When’s the audition”? “One week”, Julia said. Nicole and Ally looked at each other and nodded their heads. “What”? Julia asked. “ We are going to get you ready for the movie in case you get the part”, Ally said. “We are? Nicole asked. What about the other thing”? “What other thing”, Julia said with a confused look on her face. “ We can do that later”, Ally suggested ignoring Julia’s question. Ally is more of a tomboy as you probably have figured out by now. After you read what’s next you will be surprised. “Wear these”, Ally told holding out a pair of silver sparkly high heels. “Why do I need these”, Julia said scared. Not a scared-scared but a scared-to-wear-high-heels-shoes-scared. “ Are you sure we won’t get in trouble, because I doubt those are your shoes, no offense Ally”, Nicole asked being her worried self. “Relax”, Ally said ignoring Julia’s question once again. Julia put the shoes on her feet. She started to wobble. She took two steps without falling and the third she fell to the ground with a thunk. “Ow”, Julia yelled. She had twisted her ankle. It wasn’t that bad but it still hurt. “Bad idea. Are you O.K? ” ally asked. “I knew something like this was going to happen. Are you O.K Juls? I am sooooooooo sorry. Nicole started to mumbled a few more words. “I’m fine”, Julia lied because it still hurt but her worrying friend went on. Ally apologized to Julia for making her wear the high heels although Julia knew that it was the clothes on the messy floor that made her trip not the shoes. * * * * * * * * One week had gone by like that. Back at the Lintheart’s Rose was throwing a fit after Mrs. Lintheheart explained where and why they were moving. “It’s not fair. It’s not fair at all. Why does she get everything she wants? It’s not fair”, Rose pouted stomping her tiny feet on the ground. “Now Rose be patient, her mother started, you’ll get turn. “I don’t want to be patient”, Rose said angrily. Julia came downstairs with her suitcase. They had packed earlier and were on there way. They piled into the silver minivan. When they arrived at the airport they waited. If you have a younger sibling and are going somewhere you probably know how it is. They create a scene, then a million pair of eyes look your way and well, you get humiliated. That’s exactly what Rose did. So I am not going to waste my time and your time describing the humiliation of Julia. They boarded the plane. The plane was quite small, but it had comfortable seats. The windows were shaped rectangles. Rose got the window seat, her mother was in the middle, and Julia got the aisle seat. As soon as Julia sat down she fell asleep. “Jules”, Mrs. Lintheart whispered. Julia’s eyes slightly opened then closed again. “Jules”, Mrs. Lintheart said a little louder. Nothing. “JULIA”, Rose screamed at the top of her lungs. Julia abruptly opened her eyes. She looked around the rest of the plane was empty. “We’re here, Mrs. Lintheart announced, in Hollywood”. ~CHAPTER 7~ They checked their luggage in. The people there were all very well-dressed. IT was mainly adults who were walking through the long lines. “Right outside this airport is Hollywood”, Julia whispered to Rose. “Just a few more minutes, Julia, Mrs. Lintheart explained. Then we will go by taxi to our hotel. “What’s our hotel like”? Rose asked her mother. Well, it’s called Hollywood Orchid Suites. It’s not too fancy but it is expensive, her mother replied as the three of them walked towards the door. We have been given the deluxe suite. Julia wasn’t listening she kept walking with her eyes focused on the door. Julia swung it open. There was a giant hill with HOLLYWOOD printed on it in big white letters. All three of the faces smiled. There was also a busy road making not too hard to find a taxi cab. They hopped in the bright yellow cab. “Where to”? The cab driver asked in his deep-commercial-like voice. “The Hollywood Orchid Suite”, Rose said in her high pitched voice answering for her mother. He driver dropped them off and waved goodbye. Mrs. Lintheart led the way inside while Rose took her time skipping and twirling in her ridiculously pink blouse and her pink sparkly shirt to match. They walked into the lobby. “ Who might you be”, the guy behind the counter asked Rose. “My name is Rose Lintheart”, Rose answered. “Lintheart eh”, the guy behind the counter said as he started to type something in the computer. “Ah yes, you will be staying in suite #339. Enjoy your stay”, he added as they started to walk away. Julia twisted the knob of suite #339. It wouldn’t budge. “You have to use the key card silly”, Rose said twirling. Julia didn’t remember Rose getting the key card from the guy behind the counter. Anyway, Julia slid the card inside and waited for the small green light to come up. She opened the door and walked inside. The room was cool. Two king sized beds, two T.V’s and a bathroom. On one of the beds they found a note. Julia read it aloud. Dear Julia Lintheart, We would like to inform you that your audition will take place tomorrow at Hollywood Studios. Be there no later than 12:00 pm. Your lines are attached to this note. Good Luck. “What else does it say?” Mrs. Lintheart asked. Your Lines You: Mom I’m bored. (say in a whiny voice) Mom: We have to go pick up your sister then go to the mall. You: Again? I hate going there. Mom: We need clothes for fall. You: Don’t I need clothes for winter first? Mom: We got those last week. Julia practiced with her mother. She stumble on every other word. “What was that”, Rose said being mean. Julia shot her a nasty look. “I’m just saying, Rose continued, that you acted better at Lavendar’s house”. “What are you talking about”? Julia asked, as if Rose was crazy. “You acted as if you hated going to Lavendar’s house when you enjoyed it. You pretended to be mad but you had nothing better to do. Julia knew that she was partially correct. Fine, Julia knew she was a hundred percent correct, but she still acted like Rose was crazy. “Why don’t you try again, Julia”, Mrs. Lintheart said trying to break the tension between the two sisters. Julia tried again and got it almost perfect. “What’s this”, Rose said pointing to the piece of paper with the lines on it. Julia took the piece of paper out of Rose’s hands. She looked at it carefully, there was another verse of lines. Do I have to recite these lines too, she thought to herself. The lines were sad. They were about girl who finds her long lost mother. “Let’s practice these too”, Julia told her mother. They practiced. There was crying scene that Julia just couldn’t get right. “Try thinking of something sad”, Rose said. Julia took this advice. She thought and thought but couldn’t find anything sad. Julia finally got something from her own life. Her dad. It seemed so long since Julia had seen him. Tears welled up in her eyes. “Mom, when will we see dad”? “If you get the part soon enough, if you don’t we could still visit him on set, but we’d have to notify him first”. Julia had a mission. The same mission as before (to get the part) but for a different reason. She longed to see her father. ~CHAPTER 8~ She slept through the night. She was ready, only half an hour till auditions. She was given an outfit to wear (provided by Hollywood Studios). It was a light blue baby doll top with black leggings. The lobby was big and grand. I do not know how to describe it other than the simple words big and grand. They went through the double doors and outside. They fetched a cab and rode on the busy streets of Hollywood. They pulled into the parking lot of Hollywood Studio. They walked inside and saw 15 other girls waiting to audition. Since she was the last audition, she saw some girls coming out crying, and others expressionless. It had black floors and there were three judges. There was also a person next to her that acted like the mom. The judges explained that she could choose either of the two verses to audition. Julia considered this thought very carefully. At the end she decided that she would choose the mall one because she practiced it more and she could relate to it better. Julia had butterflies in her stomach. She spoke clearly, and said the words with emotion. Julia felt a bit better. She thought that she had nailed the audition, but only time would tell if she got the part. She waited in the room along with the other girls. She was nervous. The main judge came out. He cleared his throat, “The winner who gets the part is Julia Lintheart.” Julia gasped. “Me”, Julia said scarcely believing what she just heard. Julia ran over her mother and gave her a hug. “Rose, thanks for your advice it really worked, and I knew you were right all along”, Julia told her sister. Julia felt like this was too good to be true. She had accomplished her mission, but still so many unanswered questions. Little did Julia realize that this was only the beginning.
Simply Complicated; (Working Title, this is the story I posted before for any one who wants to read more!!!) Chapter one: Prologue: There's always jumping off the balcony. Gennet rummaged around her enchanting suite, there had to be some things appropriate for a princess on sea voyage. It was more difficult when she was awaiting her execution; she imagined the blade releasing her head from it’s binding with her body. Alas, this was just a pleasant day dream to what really awaited her, marriage. Marriage, the vile and cruel punishment her father was inflicting on her for being born a female. Unlike her eldest brother Nathaniel, who she envied, for he had the right to choose, to wear pants, and loose shirts, what a girl she was. Awaiting the “fairy tale” ending every young woman dreamt of. And she was considering hurling herself of the balcony. Waiting for Roman, the man who she would soon “share” the rest of her life with, more like be owned by him for all of eternity. With a smug smile, Gennet only packed one gown, the rest were stolen clothing articles from her brothers. She would act against this marriage, and perhaps be left alone in the process. Then, since she was not an appropriate bride she would be left on a dessert island, with only essential tools where she could be alone, with her pride for the rest of her peaceful life, sure. “Princess! Princess! Oh your highness, why the heavens are you still in here? The ship will be leaving in under an hour; you must go eat hurry along” Her trusty lady Quinn, how she was always by her side leading her. Promising companionship even through marriage, she was the woman any man would be grateful for, but she had her. She had her Quinn, forever and always, she’d rather marry her then Roman. “Oh! Yeah, I think I should go.” She replied, noting Quinn’s disapproving eyes on her unclosed suitcase. “Packing – light are we malady?” Quinn said with a sarcastic smile. “Don’t you dare tell on me” her eyes shot at Quinn, and with loyalty in her eyes, Quinn smiled. The ship was grand and charming fit for a royal family. And then --- there was Roman, who was telling the captain how he should navigate the ship. Why did this man think so highly of himself? Yes, he had Jet black hair, dark gray eyes that were cold and beautiful, a very many chest, and figure. The problem was this man had absolutely no qualities. Any qualities would be nice, maybe a hunter, or painter? But he resolved all problems with – servants. He lived to be served, and in all his “glory” assumed the people who served him lived to serve. Most fiancée’s are angry when they hear the help complaining of their Fiancé. Gennet laughed, and then joined in. Such a proper lady, of course, she was always on her very best behavior. Gennet chuckled. Aware of the night’s events that lay ahead of her she was sprawled out across her cabin bed, the last time she would be alone at night. She shivered and would sleep with peace. Grimacing at the thought of Roman caressing her for his own benefits, why was life punishing her so badly. She hated gowns more than anything, more than – Roman. Although she new better then to show up in anything but tonight, this was an important dinner, and she would be appropriate, for tonight. As she walked in late, into the beautiful dining room, with a room full of people who were to be the wedding guests, she took her seat next to Roman. It was so weird, she didn’t notice until now; he looked at her with big eyes the way some one that is in love looks, his eyes were widened, and he smiled at her. When she sat next to him he took her into his arms and gave her an embracing kiss. Gennet couldn’t see the rest of her life without him but she also could not spend the rest of her life with him. This was far too painful; she did not want the married life. Why was every one trying to fool her? After the terrible last supper was over she returned to her room and painfully sat on her bed. The cabin walls seemed to be caving in on her, just one night from now she would be in a beautiful beach palace, surrendering to a man that she never wished to see again. Sadly this man was her Fiancé. Roman, oh god Roman why did he have that hair? That body! No her life was not a romance novel it was a tragedy. Why did she have to keep reminding herself? She would marry him; of course it was her duty. Although who ever proclaimed that a wife must love and fulfill their husbands needs. Gennet was going to dedicate the rest of her life to torturing her loving husband, Roman. After falling asleep thinking she was so pleased to have awoken in a bed. She assumed that the boat had landed in the night, and some one had carried her in. She smiled. In a few hours she could start her torture on the unsuspecting Roman. Within minutes people were giving her food, and starting to torture her poor body. She wanted nothing more than to throw on her brothers clothing and be the groom instead. How lucky he had it, throw on a tux and his naturally perfect hair would compliment. What a jerk. Twenty more minutes until fun time! She wondered if maybe quite possibly she was one of the most insane people who had ever been a princess. Probably, but who cares. They weren’t the ones who had to be married to a woman who would rather dress like him then spend two seconds in his bed. She wondered how he would take the news that she was going to be sleeping in one of the extra bedrooms in the palace. Tonight she would humor him and return to his bedroom, then she would quietly tuck away on her own side of the honey moon bed. Honey was supposed to mean sweet. Sweet revenge, no man was going to almost seduce her and get away with it. They simply would have to pay, regardless if they were getting married or not. And then the moment had arrived, she found herself in a white lacey gown, with a veil. Tropical flowers positioned around the beach. She walked down the isle to the man she awaited to torture. Then she saw them, the eyes she thought were to be cold, today they were not so gray, actually they were deep emerald sparkly green. He was watching her with the most beautiful grin. Why! Why was he so terrible? Such a good actor, she half expected him to run away and join a theatre program. The part where she actually said “I do” made her cringe. She remembered it vaguely. Her father used to say it was best women not think. No wonder, she pretty much passed by the whole wedding, supper and evening without knowledge of what was going on. She was lying on the bed, staring at the eyes who expected her to sleep with them. She also saw the disappointment as she drifted off into the most bliss slumber of her life, probably existence. Chapter Two: She never broke a promise, not even to herself. Roman awoke to stare into the eyes of his young bride. Yes, they had been married for two years, and he had not even had the chance to sleep with her. She only recently started sleeping in the same bed as him. She refused to dress in fancy gowns and would only wear small dresses, although he could not complain he didn’t know why she treated him this way. Perhaps she was still hostile over an arranged marriage, but why so much? He loved her more than he could ever imagine, he saw her beautiful eyes ever day of the week and never second guessed himself. He didn’t mind that she wore what she wanted it; it turned him on that she had such an expressive self-opinion. The world could use more women like Gennet, she made him feel like the luckiest man of all time, because he could be himself around her. Roman loved her to the point in which he could not see what he was doing wrong. Did the love of his life honestly believe he saw her as eye candy? She had tried to make certain that she wasn’t eye candy that was for sure. Roman was in love with the woman that it seemed he could never have, his wife. Perhaps it should hurt his ego that she was doing this to him, but he was so very blinded by love. What did he know about love the first woman that he ever loved was laying in his bed, ring on her finger, and wouldn’t even let him touch her. Gennet was the most beautiful seductive, and evil creature he had ever set his eyes on. Roman was going to be a king in many years, and was also a business man, although he was a prince he was also in charge of many affairs that his country was to face. He got to spend many hours a day away from his wife. Many men saw this as a challenge. He however was glad to get away, away from the woman that seemed to have made a bet with herself to make his life miserable. Soon he and Gennet would be moving to New York City, in the beautiful Upper East Side. The house was not going to be too big, just one of the most elite in New York. He could afford just that, and maybe he would be able to soften his bride up when he got her out of the country. Every time Roman had even touched Gennet during their marriage she had threatened on many accounts to hurl herself directly off the balcony into the ocean below. Torment seemed to be her favorite subject, and indeed she loved to torture him. Roman’s eyes were glistening as his thoughts were filled with his beautiful wife. He got out of his bed and started to pack his wives clothing, all old fashioned. Then he decided to throw them out altogether, she would thank him later. Perhaps not when she had nothing to wear but she’d probably steal some of his clothing. Roman called his assistant in New York City, Elisa. “Hello Sir” she responded almost immediately, although it was still very late in the night, with the time difference. “Yes, Elisa, Size zero clothing for my wife, dresses, not grand, but wearable in public, Jeans, Shirts all designer of course. Whatever is in fashion these days in New York of course. Here, the women all wear gowns.” Elisa immediately responded. “Personal credit?” she asked. “Oh, yes of course I would also like if you bought many different types of shoes, and makeup also stalk the house with two of every technology, laptops etcetera. For my wives you may use your own sense of taste.” Roman then hung up knowing that Elisa would get on it as soon as he could. New York City, Gennet was going to flip out. They were only supposed to leave in a month and he had decided to move the date up to attend a conference. Roman was not a cruel man, and his wife was not exactly ugly. Surely they could adapt to New York culture. Although – the part which confused him was how New York didn’t actually have a culture. * * * Roman was one of the most annoying distractions that Gennet had ever experienced. One of the most annoying parts of her life, because she refused to be with him, regardless of marriage. The biggest problem in the matter was she was simply complicatedly in love with him. Gennet knew she never wanted to be a larger part of Roman’s life. The easiest part of loving him was the fact that he loved her also, which made it fun to watch him suffer. Was she such a cruel person? Of course she was. She had made a promise to herself, and she would not break it. Regardless of the two years which had passed and the up coming anniversary, thank god she would be safely out of the country, and placed in a civilized environment. New York City, she had called one of the most feared places by her old fashioned country, civilized. Well, perhaps they used the energy, and had electronics. Perhaps. Of course Gennet had frequently watched television on her laptop she had smuggled in. It was very slow internet, and a crappy model. She couldn’t wait for the escape.

Betty: Where did you get it? Carla: You can get them at any drugstore. The next day, Betty hobbles herself into the local drugstore and announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of co*doms. "I can't wear your trousers." she said. "That's right,'' said the husband, "and don't you ever forget it. I'm the man who wears the pants in this family." With that she flipped him her panties and said, "Try these on." He tried them on and found he could only get them on as far as his kneecaps. "Hell," he said. ''I can't get into your panties!"
