Bedroom decorating ideas for 22 year old female? I have lived in my apartment for 8 months and my bedroom is completely bare! I need some neat decorating ideas please :) I'm not allowed to paint the walls unfortunately, which makes it a little harder. I'm also not wanting to spend a ton of money. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Any unique fairy theme bedroom decorating ideas for 2 little girls? We are remodeling our girls' room and they are wanting a fairy theme. We already have the walls painted white with an allover sponge effect done in pink, so I'd like to mainly stick to that color and perhaps incorporate a bit of purple too. I went out and purchased a sateen black down comfort with a set of soft pink sheets but Im not sure Im going to be able to use it because there is just way way to much black. Decorating the bedroom need some ideas? My boyfriend and I are busy decorating our first house before we can move in. We are onto the bedroom and need a cheap easy but stylish way of decorating it. There is a hideous red carpet down at the mo which will go eventually...if i have my way! He has bought a black/white duvet set with diamond pattern on, ( I havent seen it yet) and he was wanting to just paper the room white i think it would look too cold. The paper has to be embossed kind due to the state of the walls. He also has some black and white prints of New York he is putting up. What colour schemes could we use that the duvet cover would go with? Even if we just painted the 1 wall that the bed head goes against... Bedroom Decorating Ideas + Convincing? So I know I have asked this question before but I am asking again so please help me! So I moved into the house i live in now when I was two years old. I still have the same bedroom which is about the size of a dorm room maybe a bit smaller. Now I will tell you flat out that my parents can be are cheap on a lot of things. Six years ago my brother was born and got the guest room which is bigger and more spacious than mine. Note until I was nine I was an only child. I did not want a sibling thought if I did everything right he just wouldnt come. So when my mom asked if i wanted the bigger room I said no. I said no for many reasons. For one i wanted part of my life to stay the same I also as i said was hoping he just wouldnt come. I was nine and scared what can i say? Anyway since my bro has been born I have gotten my walls re-painted by my dad and the same furniture i have had re-arranged. Thats it! I got to do that when I was about 11 years old. Now i am almost 15 and I kind of want a bigger room and a room that refelects me who I am. I honestly do not see any reason a six year old little boy needs a bigger room than an 15 year old teenage girl. I do not want all new furniture bed or anything I want: The bigger room-my brothers To Paint it Get a Duvet New lamp possibly Thats basically it. My furniture is easy to go with anything as it is natural looking. Anyway i need help with two things: Thing One: HOW and HELP to get my parents to agree to get me that room. My mom is letting me re-do the office upstairs (carpeted) into my bedroom (my other one is being COMPLETELY cleaned out considering everything in there has been there since i was...like five ) Soooo....yeah...I was thinking like Black and red furniture with black bedspread and red pillows (So I can change the accent color if I want to) but I dont know what color to make the walls because my mom wants them to be easy to paint over (in case they ever decide to sell the house which i highly doubt will ever happen) so can u please help me :D and if u have any other decorating ideas please tell me....o and sorry for typing shorthand (I.M.) I'm in a hurry because we have to go to my sister's graduation...
Bedroom Paint/Decorating Ideas for Master Bedroom and its Balcony. I've been thinking of painting my room, but i don't know which colors i should pick........ Well the room's 17 x 14 feet in size and it has a sliding door at the other end as a window. I want to make it look nice since it's the master bedroom on the second floor and it overlooks the outside balcony. The house has a colonial style to it, painted white and the balcony has 3 arches, tiled with orange saltillo floor that matches the tile roofing....... Any paint and decorating ideas for both balcony and room?... oh and the balcony is 5 ft. x 17 ft just so you guys get a picture to come up with ideas.

Help with bedroom decorating ideas for a teen? I have a very cutesy, girl-y bedroom, and I need something different. But my furniture was very expensive and I can't get rid of it. The furniture is a tan color and it has some flowers around the handles of the drawers. There is a big dresser, a chifferobe (just 3 drawers and 3 shelves) a nightstand, and a daybed. I always wanted a gothic style room, but I know that can get expensive and has to be decorated perfectly for it to look right. I also like a room that has a lot of junk, but is organized [does that make sense?] - like lots of cork boards and crates with things inside of them . I like deep colors (like deep purple). Some people have said that a Victorian style would look good - but again it gets expensive and doesn't look right if it's not done perfectly. I don't know how I'm supposed to decorate my room to fit my style and still make it look appropriate with my furniture. Does anyone have ideas? Decorating bedroom ... ideas? Helloo.. I'm thinking of redecorating my bedroom, and I've been thinking that the floral/flock design wallcoverings have been coming into fashion recently. I went to a restraunt the other night, and they had purple flocked design wallpaper and it looked absolutely stunning. Then they had a musky purple/pink ceiling. Two of the walls were in flocked wallcovering, the other two were in white paint. It gave the room a gorgeous look and a romantic feel to it. The problem is, on the internet I can't find any purple flock in that design. I must of searched for hours. Anyway.. Any ideas for decorating a basement bedroom? My husband and I just bought a new(new to us) home. The master bedroom is in the finished basement. Two of the walls are cinderblock the others have been finished with drywall. The ceiling is covered (pipes) but some of the ductwork is still exposed. Any nifty ideas on how to conceal the ductwork or the cinderblock walls? Thanks!

Decorating spare bedroom. Any ideas? My spare bedroom needs to be painted. Im not sure what colour to go with. It is a very bright room and very warm as it gets the sun all day. The furniture is pine and wooden floors so its a blank canvas at the moment. I was thinking of maybe a pale purple or lilac as a feature wall. Because its such a warm and bright room I don't mind choosing a cool colour scheme. Don't want to do red, green or neutral colours such as browns and creams.
