what is the best color to paint a bedroom...something relaxing..?

I am repainting my bedroom this weekend and I just need some help with color...any ideas?

2. earthy colors....greens browns and such
3. For relaxing go for, soft tan sage green peach ecru sand or very very pale yellow
4. a light blue, or a grayish blue. That does not mean that you have to pick baby blue. You can pick just about any color of blue and go with a lighter tone of it.

8. All the answers above are good choices, but I would recommend trying to tie in the bedroom furniture with the paint color. I beautiful light green paint wouldnt go well with pink bedding as an example. If nothing else comes to mind, go to any paint department or store and bring home a selection of paint chips. That might help you in deciding. I hope this helps.

10. I just painted mine a very dark forest green and have a very pale mint green bedspread and drapes to match. I'm sleeping great. The morning sun doesn't wake me now. got room darkening shades under the drapes!
11. Earth tone colors if you want it cozy and realxing- shades of browns, greens, burgundy, golds.
