- Hmmm... blue and orange doesn't sound too appealing... What are your interests? Add additional details and I will come back with some more ideas
- pink
- sounds gross, ugly and tacky. how about cream?
- pink and brown look great together or you can try a bright blue with brown trim it looks cool
- When you're painting your bedroom it's hard because you don't want to paint it a color you might consider "childish" later on. I would recommend something light and casual like beige or light blue. Hope this helps =)
- a very light pink.....goes with white furniture..
- dallas cowboy colors its unique!
- It sounds like you already know what you want, but are hesitant about it. I'd reccommend thinking about not only what your likes are right now (obviously Dallas...lol) but what you're going to want a few years down the road. Painting your room is costly and time consuming. You don't want to paint something and then in a year be tired of it and ready for a change. I reccommend a more neutral tone like beige or taupe and then decorating your room with all your fan memorobilia. This way, if you want to make a change later, it won't be so hard to undo. Whatever you decide, good luck decorating your space! : )
- it depends on what kinda of stuf your interested in. like if you like girly-girl stuff, try a pink, or red or light blue, lavender, light orange, light yellow.... or if you are inteested in not-so-girly stuff, such as sports, maybe (like you said) the cowboys colors, or like darker blue, or maybe like a beach theme like sandy colored. Or like tropical (like pineapple and stuff) like a dark/forest green(thts what my room is)......hope it helps p.s. whenever im making a decision about something(anything) I always just say to myself like "oh I'll pick ___ " and if I feel a little hesitant about it, than i dont picki it, do that with a bunch of colors, then just pick the one that you think you'd be most happy with..... also, picture in ur mind the furniure you'd put in it and how it'd look in the future.... :)
- Well, it depends entirely on what you like and dislike... Blue and orange is a complementary color scheme... it's dramatic and exciting and very lively, but when using it let the shades and bright tones of such colors be for accessories and accent like pillows, while the lighter and duller tones for large spaces like walls... The same will apply to the cowboy scheme... Personally I prefer Blue and Orange, but it's your room!! Choose accessories and patterns that reflect your character and interests... and always remember; whatever makes u happy, GO 4 IT! Good luck...
- if you like Dallas Cowboys then make that your theme and paint your room how you want it. put up the Cowboy's posters, throw pillows, or blanket or flags that have their white stars on them. you can even make your own decorations. it's your room so have fun w/ it. as for as blue/orange, those are the colors of a highschool in n.o., la and the students don't mind them and are proud to wear their school colors!!
- Well, you may not be very pleased with your bedroom being blue/orange... I have nothing against either of those colors, in fact, I love the color orange. But they are both complementary colors, which means that they both set each other off. You might find them soon screaming at each other and it'll be difficult to have a restful room, which is what a bedroom is supposed to do best. You can still use the two colors but here's how to make it better: To have complete color harmony in any room, you need three colors. 1 dominant (usually the paint color) 1 medium (usually the trim) & 1 accent color (usually the decorative items). Keep in mind that in decorating, white is not considered a color but the absence of color (which is why it goes with any color) and black is also not a color but rather, the mixture of all colors (which is also why it goes with all colors). Black must always be used in a room, no matter what, to ground all the colors together. It doesn't have to be a big item. In fact, it can be a vase, a television, a lamp, a frame, etc. If you really want to do blue and orange, decide which one is going to be your dominant color. Does your bedroom face south? If so, blue would be the better color, as it is cooler. If you paint orange in a room facing south, you may just find at the end of the day that your room is hot and stifling, as orange is a warm color. Blue is the most restful in a room. And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Cowboy colors blue, silver & white??? If so, how about using a combination of blue, silver and a soft burnt orange? Using a burnt orange instead of a bright orange will make the room richer and the colors won't scream at each other. If I had to do my room in these colors, I'd do my walls silver, my trim an opaque saphire blue, my bedspread in tones of dried bamboo, my furniture a deep espresso chocolat wood with silver hardware and a few burnt orange accents such as a vase, a funky lampshade on a silver lamp base, burnt orange cushions in at least 3 shades of the burnt orange, and maybe a funky chair that brings all the colors together. I place a plant (probrably bamboo) in a funky black pot (to ground it all together :)and sit an impressive espresso chocolate wood mirror up against a wall. Of course, it would be easier to help you if I knew what your furniture looked like and a bit more about your personality. If you prefer a country feel to your home, then I'm way off base here. So feel free to give more details or to email me. Also, keep in mind that the easiest way to choose a paint color scheme for any room is by finding a focal object in the room, such as a bedspread or duvet cover in a bedroom, a sofa in a living room, a painting in a den, a vase in a dining room, etc. Choose a color scheme from that item and work the whole room around that. So, if you haven't decided on what your bedspread is going to be, you should get that first. It's much easier to match paint to a bedspread than find one that matches the paint scheme that's hanging out in your head... I hope this info helps you decide. Whatever you do decide upon, make sure it's something that makes you smile when you walk into your room!
- I don't think that blue/orange is a good combination. I like cream.
