what color should i paint my bedroom, now?

i already asked this, but i needed to add somethings. i am a 16 year old boy, and im going to paint my room. what would be a real cool and interesting color to paint it? noting obnoxious of course, buttt, you knoww? also, i have biege carpet, and the room is kind of small, with one window and two doors to enter, and has white trim. i would like a color that wouldnt make it seem small. and if this gives you ideas about what i like and will help, i guess: myspace.com/mashpotato91

1. I think the sherwin williams color "bracing blue" would look fab in your room: http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_visualizer/index.jsp And use a semi-gloss sheen so it reflects more light. If you think that it would be too dark to paint your entire room that color, then maybe paint two walls blue & two walls "extra white." Or paint your walls white with big blue stripes for more interest. Good luck!
2. First what colors do you like? You could take the color you like best that is already in your room eg: what color are your drapes and bed covers and use one ot those
3. The color "yawza" picked out is good. The advice ISNT. The reason I say this is because you specifically said you DO NOT want to make the room feel any smaller than it already is. To avoid doing that, you need to avoid one thing...CONTRAST. Meaning, don't go putting a dark color with a light color. Keep whatever colors you choose very close in shade to each other. So if you like a blue, pick multiple blues or greens that are almost the same shade. Also, Since you have a beige carpet, I wouldn't go with dark colors in general, as they will contrast the carpet too much. You can be bold without making the room small. But pick your fav. color...find some others to go with it, and start painting :)
