Teen bedroom?

Hello, I am a fifteen year old girl, who is re-doing her room, and i would like to know what you think......I am doing a NYC styled bedroom and i am using the colors Teal, and Red. I found this really cute pub table and chairs set for the corner of my room to hold my laptop. I also have a big picture of the new york skyline in black and white, and i am stenciling the words "Faith, Family, Friends" on the wall in red. while all the other walls will be teal. I have decided on a plain white comforter and white sheer curtains- to break up the boldness. Also i am adding black and white pictures of my friends to one of my walls. So this is my plan...Tell me what you think, and any suggestions you have- Thanks!

1. Wow. i love the idea. im around the same age and also wanting to redo my room. but your ideas are great and sounds awesome.
2. sounds cool! i'm also redoing my room, but it's a different style than yours. maybe to make it a bit more interesting, get a rug with red, teal, black and white or a few of those colours that will be in your room. http://www.homedecorators.com has some stylish rugs. i personally really like this one: http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Flowers_Area_Rug_I/210/ just a sugestion, though! your room sounds like it's gonna look great. good luck with it! :)
3. i love that!! but im not to sure about the red and teal. i think the black and white and teal OR red would look good. if you decide to go with teal, put green, blue, or silver instead of red. if you decide to go with red, put gold, silver, orange or blue instead of teal. put overall, that will be soo cute!!
