sophisticated teen bedroom. Help please??
alright i am 15 years old and i lost track on how many times i have redone my room. It has been through so many stages, punk, princess, girly, beachy. i just don't know. Since i'm growing up i want to redo it one last time. I want it to be very sophisticated/sexy. I love miley cyrus's bedroom. ( if you dont know what it looks like: http://i31.tinypic.com/aabp83.jpg ) heres what i got and what i cant change: i have white furniture, twin bed, nightstand, dresser and shelf unit. i am getting hard wood floors, MAYBE or idk. ideas on that? it's kind of cluttered so i know i have to clean it out. Right now i just recently painted my room lime green and like.. aqua blue. I can probably paint it again but idk what color. i would really like to incorporate blue into it, but if not that's alright. please help! pictures are awesome. thank youuu also remember that i'm on a budget so nothing expensive.

- Hey, i'v recently decided to decorate my room. im 16 and wanted something sophisticated. i decided to go for black and white. I had 3 of my walls painted an off-white colour, and the last wall covered in a wallpaper similar to this one:http://www.wandrlust.com/images_products/4438_small.jpg I also have hard wood floors which match very well, so will your white furniture. Black and white accessories are so fashionable atm, so you'll find them anywhere, and they look gorgeous! in mine, i included some fushia pink accessories for extra colour in my room, such as pink cushions on my bed. - I love aqua blue and lime green together. You have to check out a couple of my blogs. One is entirely made up of photographs of aqua rooms...there are a couple of teen bedrooms, and a lot of other really great bedrooms. I think blue can be very sophisticated (just as in that Miley Cyrus photo...LOVE that!)
- play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours: http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/ My suggest is to paint the room "universal khaki" (# 6150). It will match any other color out there, so even if you do want to get new bedding & accents in the next year or two, you won't necessarily have to paint your walls. You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website: http://www.roomvues.com/ You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
