Redoing teen bedroom-- ideas?!?
i am redoing a teen bedroom,, and i have been looking online for some good ideas. i love the colors yellow and brown together,, but i am going to have this theme for as long as i live in this house. so i want something mature, but not adult mature. if you get what i mean, please add pictures? or links. very much appreciated! its for a girl. and i like flower bedding or polka dots. i dont think brown and yellow are dull. i think a yellow will pop with a brown, and maybe some white and teal?! i think that would look good. find bedding pictures!!! 10PTS!

- Go to Ikea, Maybe paint your walls all yellow with one brown wall that will stand out nice! With brown furniture and a yellow bedspread with a pattern on it. Something nice and clean cut will look mature - so you will never get sick of it as you grow. Also try adding bulleten bords so you can have photos of your friends. My teenage room had a line of cork board about an inch thick a foot down from the cealing so i could tack up posters without ruining the walls.
- I don't know what you like. I could tell you to go buy pink puffy pillows, but end up knowing that you're into star wars.. so what do you like? EDIT: If you have a sears store or something other store like it.. Get their catalogue(Spelling?) and through the bedding's and bed suite sections.. Just find one you like go from there.
- Bright colors if its a girl. nutral if its a boy. depending on what they like or where you live. Retro is really in right now, also funky styles. Ikea has great set ups and really inexpensive stuff. i recamend you try there for ideas. hope i helped.

- Ugh..do not do yellow and brown. It's so dull. Polka dots are really hott for teens right now. Try a lighter green polka dot on white walls if its for a girl...if it's for a guy, try a midnight blue with a lime green stripe around the baseboard of the room. I couldn't find any images. Sorry. But if you go to a paint store, they will show you what the colors look like. Some places even have computers so you can virtually paint the room and see what it looks like before even picking up a paintbrush!
