Where can I get cheap themed bedroom stuff for my toddler?

Does anyone know any good places to get decent themed bedroom decorations and furniture for my toddler. We are thinking of going with a cars/lorries/diggers type theme. We have not got loads to spend so need somewhere reasonble.

  4. Wilkos, wollies and just keep looking I got some great stick on cut outs of tweetie and pooh bear for 50p each from a nic nack store. alwys look in 'cheap shops' most of the stuff is crap but you can get a find. I got some framed prints of cartoon charachters for a couple of quid each.
  5. walmart or target you can check there web pages
  6. carboot sales friends and family charity shops
  7. e-bay love its great we have done it with all our kids and what are you looking for as we might be able to help haha
  8. Walmart and Kmart always have the latest themes for kids. For my 4 year old son we did a space theme last year, blankets, full bed set, pillows, even a light with a shade with stars on it. They may not have it all together but I"m sure if you looked around in the stores they'd have bed sets, and if you happen to be somewhere else you can pick up wall decorations, extra plush pillows, a throw, maybe even a bathroom mat that you can put near your child's bed. We did that and my son lands on a spaceship every morning, who's going to know it's relaly meant to be in a bathroom when it's fluffy and soft and belongs on the floor? Either way, that's where we go when we stock up on my kids bedroom things, and when we do have a little bit to spend we go to JcPenny, and or toys R Us, and Babies R Us, they always have the latest, movies, tv, books and or cartoon charector that your kids seem to jump all over when they see it! Good Luck, have fun!
  9. one word WALMART
  10. Check the internet for photos of cars & such and take to Kinkos to laminate and then to 99 cent store to get frames and put on the wall. Don't use the glass if you are afraid of it breaking. Check out the recycler on line or in there paper. Also Annes linens, Target & thrift store. And check you home store for returned paint sometimes you can get for a buck!
  11. walmart, target, big lots, or sometimes family dollar or dollar general
  12. Ikea!
  13. Try ebay or places like Walmart and Kmart. My 20 month old sons room will be dinosaurs when we move him into his toddler bed. We got a few themed peices like a bedspread and wall border. The sheets and pillow cases are just plain colored. I bought a cheap lamp and glued (with some heavy duty super glue) a toy dinosaur to the base of the lamp: you could do that but with a toy car. Hopefully that helps you some.

  16. Ebay
  17. Wal-Mart has the movie Cars theme. So does Toys R Us in the bedroom area. You can also search Ebay and find some quality used or even new items at less then retail.
  18. try target, lowes, walmart, home depot, or i fnot if you have a friend that likes painting.
  19. Try Ebay my son wanted a bit of a redundant theme for his room, long after the trend had ended, we got loads cheap stuff from there.
  20. I bought my son the cars bedroom set for toddlers. It's really cute. The bed is red and has kinda built in side rails. It also came with a table and two chairs and a rack with cute little plastic type bins for toys. Its all decorated in the cars them. It came from Wal-Mart and was around 100.00 for the five piece set. I found the comforter set at K-mart ( its the cars one) for around 35.00 with sheets and pillow case. You also have to buy your own mattress. We found one at Wal-Mart for about 40.00. We found some really cute Cars posters and put up on the wall. Those came from Wal-Mart in the cards/poster section of the store. It's all really cute.
  21. I`d defo try ebay,i did my sons room in thomas the tank engine and got it all of ebay, before that i had his room in cars and i got the stuff from next directory and argos but it was rather expensive,so yes i`d say ebay is your best and cheapest bet.
  22. B & Q to cool wall sticker packs - they really brighten up wee ones rooms. You get 45 stickers (old different sizes) for 9.99
  23. ebay, argos, ikea and woolworths should have a range of things to fit in with the theme of cars/lorries/diggers.
