- I agree, Craigslist is the best option.
- new or used? i like ikea if you have a store near you. The department stores like kmart and walmart have inexpensive put together furniture. Sam's club also has inexpensive furniture online. you can usually get it shipped to the store. if you must have it now, try a rental furniture store. www.ikea.com
- www.craigslist.com for the city closest to you. Check back every few days, as people list new things daily. Use the search feature to find what you're looking for.
- Buy used through craigslist or other classified ads. Used furniture sells for 10-30% OF (not off) retail. Look for name brands - Ethan Allen is really sturdy and Stikly, Hinkly, Baker, Henredon are all good. You should be able to buy something that will not fall apart.
- Craigslist.Com/Garage Sales. Also look in your local Classifieds.
- thrift stores,craigslist,yardsales,local newspaper
- I love going to Ikea. I recommend them. You can also try factory outlets, Wal-mart, K-mart, yard sales, and your own imagination. I've been looking for bookcases forever, and went to Lowe's and got closet cabinets and used those instead.
- Here are a couple of links I think you'll like. They have buyer ratings. You should be able to do the whole thing pretty cheap. I also put in a link to duvet covers to complete the new look. Good luck!
- I think you should purchase adult leather bean bag chairs, http://www.bean-bag-chairs.ca for your new place. Not only are these chairs reasonable priced but they don't take up a lot of room and they will last you for a lifetime. Also the chairs are hand-crafted by a family of artisans in Brazil who don't have the means to get them on the market, so not only does your new apartment look good but your heat also feels good.
