Cheap storage options for my bedroom/re-doing furniture?
I don't really have much cash to spend on storage options. There are 2 dressers that were left in the house when I moved in I was thinking of redoing but I don't really know where to start they look like something out of 70's vegas they have like a shinny plastic ish coating on the top a piece of which is peeling. I'm not sure whether or not it would be easier to paint the coating or to take it off and sand the dresser then paint it. any help would be great!

- I have my uncles old bedroom furniture from the 50s, and before painting it I had to sand it, then clean it well, prime it, then paint it. Looks great now!
