- I LOVE Ikea furniture,my whole place is kitted out in it. I certainly think it's good! And especially great value for money too. Their styles are modern and i shop there nearly every week for all kinds of household things. Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's bad quality. I for one, have never had any problems with their furniture.
- Not good. I love the things they carry. However, if you want items that last,.. theirs are not the products to buy. Very cheaply made and not dependable. However, great pricing, and if you are not concerned about having to replace your products every year or so,.. then that's the place for you.
- They are great for "disposable" furniture. If you want good quality at bargain prices look for used furniture. It is hard work, but the values are impressive. Typically used furniture in good condition sells for .10-.30 on the retail dollar.
- It's not bad stuff, but... It will not hold anything heavy in the drawers so beware. The drawers will break and will need to be fixed if you put anything of weight into them. Sweaters or shirts - just fine! Don't throw junk or books, etc and you will be OK. That being said, my niece has an entire bedroom suite from them. It is white and looks expensive. I had no idea it was Ikea until I was told! She is 2 1/2 so you know the furniture is being climbed on, jumped on, etc. Her bed has held up fine so far. It has a trundle that pulls out underneath, but I don't know the model name off the top of my head. The dresser is also white lacquer...kinda shiny but NOT cheap looking at all. 6 drawer dresser with silver metal knobs. I really like the look of it and it holds a lot of clothing. Large surface area on the top to hold her things too. In short: Great value, nice looking, but don't expect it to be an heirloom passed down to the next generation because it won't last that long unless you take VERY good care of it.
- IKEA does have some good products but I wouldn't recommend buying any major furniture from them. It doesn't last very long. Consider using IKEA for small things in the room to decorate.
- it looks good, it is constructed poorly and not made to last. if that is what you are looking for, temporary than that is cool. if you are looking for heirloom quailty furniture go to furniture row.
