Furniture for bedroom?
I want to get rid of all my furniture except my bed in my room and totally redo it all (I'm already painting it!). However, I need to buy most of it and am sort-of on a budget (no job). I am kindof leaning towards garage sales but want to know if there is a better (yet still cheap) option. Also, How much would you price the following items if you were having a garage sale so i can sort of guess how much money i will need. - small dresser - night table - desk - cabinet or shelf set I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

- Ikea has affordable furniture. See if there are any hotel furniture stores in your area. They sell furniture from hotels and you can get good deals.
- You could check garage sales, as you've already mentioned, but also check out thrift stores. I don't really do garage sales, although I have done a couple, I usually price the pieces a few dollars higher trying to figure the haggle amount in. Hopefully, someone with garage sale experience will respond to that portion of your question, but just remember people will want to get "the best price".
