Painting my bedroom?

I'm a 14 year old girl who is about to paint her bedroom. I just got all new black furniture. The problems are that my room is to small and that I have two curious cats and a 2 year old nephew who are always getting into things so the color white won't work. I was hopeing to have one light color for the walls and cieling and a POP color to make my room perfect. HELP PLEASE

2. i understand your situation with a white wall but you can get paint now that you ncan wipe clean, if it was me have 3 walls white and one gorgeous bright pink wall
3. green or pink go great with black if you want that extra pop
4. pink would look nice with the black and it wouldn't make your room look small
5. Whatever you do decide to paint the room, use a good quality satin paint, as flat paints are hard to clean. If you are keeping the same bedding and linens, is there a color in there you would like on your walls? Try out this website and experiment with color. They don't have black bedroom furniture, but there is a dark wood bedroom set that you could substitute. 6. a two-toned wall will be excellent. Have one of the walls light pink, one light blue, one light green, and one light purple. The ceiling should be light yellow. You will have a great room with this colors and get lots of WOWS!
7. I'd use a pale slate blue or sage green for the wall color. For the "pop" color, I'd use a rich deep red.
