Looking for what looks best with dark gray walls in a bedroom?

I need help.... I have a medium size room with black and oatwood furniture, I am looking for what decoration, colors look best with dark gray walls. My husband and me are in our mid 20's so something modern.

1. Modern : Yellow, Silver, Glass White .... paint a accent color with the dark gray. You can go for the industrial modern.
2. If you have some of the dark gray paint left over, paint a piece of foam core board, about a 12 inch square. Let dry, give it a nother coat and take to you fave paint store. The paint people there can help you with an accent color. Better yet, ask for the decorator--that person has been trained in color selection. If this is not possible, you will need to determine if the gray is a warm gray or a cool gray--does it have a black or dark blue tone or a more red tone, then go with a contrasting lighter gray for 3 walls. Use pillows, bedding with matching grays, black and oak tones. For a accent piece, chose something in turquoise or a cool burgundy color--like a vase, or a graduated set of boxes on a side table.
3. You could get white wallpaper with a shiny pattern in it and stick little diamante gems over the patterns, very time consuming but with fantastic results! Alternatively a dusky pink will go with dark Grey very 80's which would also go with the furniture. Or you could go retro with gorgeous teal colored bedsheets, lampshades, curtains, candles, etc. Hope this helps just have fun searching for ideas in brochures and catalogs.
4. "Harmonic Tan" from Sherwin William's is an option. Other colors that coordinate with dark gray walls and black furniture, would be burgundy and white. If you go to the Sherwin William's web site, choose the living room with the black furniture. Then find the gray that is closest to your shade of gray.
