  1. try www.hgtv.com, or www.tlc.com and go to www.tradingspaces.com they have a lot of ideas, and on hgtv, they show pictures. if you look for the shows "Sensible Chic" and "Design on a Dime", they can show you how to achieve the look you want on as tight a budget as you want.
  2. If you had mirrors on the ceiling you could have pink champagne on ice.
  3. maybe try a futon so you can fit more furniture in there and it will give you more room but then fold it outinto a bed at night
  4. i love these styles, my room is designed after it, but it can be a little pricey! But i think its worth it http://www.pbteen.com/
  5. Try reading some latest design/decorating magazine to get some inspiration. Try to draw out some ideas that you have so you wont waste alot of time on moving furniture here and there before you finalise your idea. =)
  6. Heh, what a coincidence. I just so happen to be an Indian. :D Anyway, pure Indian style nowadays is a white and gold theme going on. If not, I suggest the white and lavender theme. It makes you feel refreshed everyday, and add a gold touch for the Indian accents. Dark (maybe cherry) wood or possibly a light maple color wood would be nice. I'd also say if you actually want an Indian theme, add something with a peacock or tiger in your room. Statues, maybe. Those are India's most refined and precious animals. ^-^
  7. go to HGTV on line and look at the bedroom idea's.
  8. I agree with one of the other posters, a really good place to check out is www.hgtv.com. I usually get many of my ideas from home decorating magazines as well.
