Any suggestions for sitting area in the master bedroom ?

My husband and I have the master bedroom in the house with no kids yet. We want to set up kind of a sitting area, we have limited choices since the two facing walls have the Plasma and the bed facing each other. This leaves us with space between the 2, which is enough space but not too big either. Any suggestions on how to create some good sitting space withour cramping anything? Any website, suggestions would be appreciated. Our bed is at a lower level, a 18 inch mattress, with no ensemble below it. Are there any foot chests that are lower than that... does anybody know...

  1. Sitting area for you, or potentially your kids? IF it was me, I'd put a chest at the foot of your bed, one of those that has the padded bench.
  2. Put collapsible slant folding cots or two in one expandable bed which can be converted to sofa or bed at night, where in u will get maximum space for sitting ambience without compromising any of your luxury space
  3. A would suggest a couple small chairs with arms that have rollers on the legs. You can push them into opposite corners when not in use. Or maybe a nice lounge at the foot of the bed, and maybe a small rolling chair, then you could actually have a table surface if needed. Take a look at the stuff they have here. http://www.la-z-boy.com/
  4. First, what do you need a TV for in the bedroom? I would get that out first off. The bedroom is for nookie and sleeping, not watching tv and entertaining... With that out of the way, you will free up the wall and be able to perhaps place a few wing chairs and a small table with a lamp in the middle. A lounge chair is even better, because then it will give you more options for the nookie...lol.
  5. find yourself a two seater couch for the corner that would be nice
  6. we use our sitting room for a den and when we are in there were not to be disturbed i guess u can say we have a quiet room with loveseat and 2 tvs
