Should the cops allow kids to keep stolen goods if their parents were the thieves?

If a mom stole a set of bedroom furniture for her kid, and the kid had grown accustomed to sleeping on it, when the cops caught up with the mom, should they allow the kid to keep the stolen goods? So far the answers are all "NO." How, then, can one suggest that we allow kids who were brought here by their parents illegal should be allowed to stay just because they had grown accustomed to living here in the U.S.? Chastity: First of all I CAN compare the two things, and I did. Second of all it is not at all unusual or curious that I used a child in my analogy. It was a question meant to counter a question that had been asked a few minutes before mine...someone asked....shouldn't children who were brought here illegally by their parents be allowed to stay due to the fact that they had grown accustomed to living here and don't even know the country they were born in...to this I replied with my question...and the correct answer to my question is...no. The child does not get to keep stolen goods that the parent has stolen just because the kid is accustomed to sleeping in the stolen bed.

  9. No. I say all the illegals and their children should have to go back to their country of origin and do things legally. When I went to Ireland, they didn't give me any special privileges or pay for any of my needs. I had to abide by all their rules and regulations or I had to leave. I was only allowed a 3 month VISA and when the time was up, it was time to go back to my country -- USA.

FACT: Sneaking across the border is a misdemeanor, like most traffic offenses, regardless of whether it pleases you.   11. That's a good parallel. Children of illegal immigrants should not be granted automatic citizenship just because they were born here. If the parents do not have legal citizenship, then their children should not either, and to me that's just plain common sense. But bear in mind that a lot of our laws were enacted long ago before the advent of this Mexican invasion.

Second of all, where are all the Mexicans (majoity) Florida, Texas, California etc. Wake up and read a history book, all this belonged to Mexico before we took it!!!! As we did to the Indians we did to the Mexicans. As we try to refit Iraq and take over, America has a way of trying to take everything from everyone else. We have become through governement foes, a nation of greedy people. Shouldnt your question be better said: Should we mind our own business, and stop trying to take things from other countries? The fact that you use a child to testify agianst Mexicans is an unusual one. If the shoe was on the other foot, and you couldnt make a living here to feed your kids, wouldnt you do what you had to do to get them what they need? Think. Stop going with what other people say, research it all out first.
  14. All ILLEGALS should be sent back to their country of origin. If you want to live in our country and take advantage of our services than you need to follow our rules! Why are we the only country in the world forced to bend our laws to accomodate the precious ILLEGALS? Unless they made one up which is fraud...also illegal. The only way they can take money out of their check is with a social security number which an illegal does not have and makes one up.....retard.
  15. First you can go to jail for receiving stolen property in certain states. If the illegal aliens can get away with breaking the law, that means everyone should get away with breaking the law.
  16. It's the same with any crime, should a counterfitter be allowed to keep making money simply because he did it for so long and got away with it that it should be considered legal for him? Just because they have been here for 2, 5, or 10 years, bought a house, had kids (along with the ones they brought in) have a job, does this make them legal now? If that's the case, I'm going to start printing up some bills right now, if I get away with it long enough, i'll be a millionaire by the time I'm 40!
