teen bedroom ideas?
my mom and dad said that i could rearange my room, and paint the walls and furniture. i'm gonna be 13, and i don't know what colors i want. i was thinking about painting my walls dark purple, with lime green diffrent size circles, and all my furniture light purple, and lime green carpet, but my mom and dad said that i can't get different carpet, so i guess i don't want it. right now all my furniture is white, my walls are light brown, and my carpet is off white. i have had this room since i was 7 and i'm getting kinda tired of it. i don't want anything like light like yellow or white. does anybody have any good ideas?

- hey i am 13 and i just painted my room yesterday darkish purple and lime green. now i also have wnhite furniture. so what i did to off set my beige carpet i got small shaggy lime green rugs and also purple opnes and it looks reall cute. and i got lime green and purple furniture i hope this helps and that is really rallyy weirdd haha. hope you like it
- You're going to paint furniture!? Lucky you! Why not try...Light orange walls, and a rich medium purple furniture with either purple or orange comforter and other color throw pillows. You could also try natural look. Light olive green walls with a dark brown furniture (wood colored). Beige bedspread with accents of green and brown. Why not try white walls with Hot Hot (bright) pink trim with hot pink furniture. White bedspread with pink and green throw pillows. Black furniture also looks very elegant paired with brown and beige. I hope I helped! And PS Have fun. Redecorating should be fun! Not stressful.

- I really like the sound of the purple walls with different size green circles....i would also put just the outline of some circles in green too on your walls, that way it blends a little better on your walls without looking like dalmations. I would get the green furniture though becuase if you get it purple, it will blend in with the walls and you want it to stand out...if you really want purple furniture, then paint your walls green with purple circles....also, try not to get different shades of the same color, it looks better when your colors are the same. if you paint your walls purple with green circles get green curtains, or vice versa, they will stand out better as well....then, get a green comforter with purple sheets, and fold your blankets back when you make your bed so you can see the sheets.....sounds really cute...i would get some candles and picture frames the same colors to decorate as well.
