Public Comments

  1. nope. try another color with that near to ur bedroom.but not matching colors.
  2. yes
  3. yes it should(or it depends on what you like)but yes it should
  4. Should they? I see no reason why. In fact, you might want to think seriously about the color of your bathroom if it's where you put on makeup. The color around you can change the way your skin looks! You can also check into Feng Shui...
  5. i would say complementary, or similar, but being exactly the same is not necessary
  6. i'm just eccletic i like a variety of things bought a camp that was fully furnished with nothing but avacado GREEN, even the sink, stove, shag-carpet, etc...
  7. more important is matching design
  8. you can go to http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_visualizer/index.jsp and you can mix different colors to see what looks good!!! Best Wishes
  9. Not nessecarily. They do not need to be copy-paste pictures of each other, but you need something that flows in between the two. Matching rugs or the same furniture styles would be examples of this.
  10. They should blend. Say use predominately navy in your bedroom with yellow and white as the accent colors. Then you may want to use yellow in the bathroom with small touches of navy as the accent. This way they are complimentary, but not matching. Hope this helps. :)
  11. Mine isn't. It still looks good.
  12. What you want to do is bring in a color from one room for a blend of color into the 2nd area for cohesiveness.....No they dont have to be all the same...Doesn't need to be mimic'd. Bring in a color or two to add to the master bath or bedroom to make it cohesive or blend...
  13. They don't have to Match-match but they should coordinate. If your bedroom is blue, be sure there is some blue in your bathroom. I have a blue, beige and brown master and my joining bathroom is pink, brown and beige. Not sure if it works but I like it.
  14. I think master's should. It creates a better flow, and it is calmer, like you want your retreat space to be. 1] Could do bath in lighter shade of color in bedroom, or 2] opposite shades [ bed - blue with peach; bath - peach with blue ]. 3] Also could use bath fabric [ curtain, valence ] of same as bedroom, but paint walls dif color from print. I have a friend who papered the bedroom with large roses on cream background; and did the bath with tiny rosebuds in same colors.
