What is the best color for a master bedroom ?
I am 25 years old and thinking of purple and its shades but i don't know if it is o.k or not

- I think it depends on what color you'd like to be surrounded by in that room and if you want the room to be invigorating and loud, for example, or relaxing and sleepy-making. If purple is your favorite color, then a pale, soothing shade of purple might be relaxing and help you sleep. Also there's a website I saw that explains the "psychology" of color and how to pick them. I can't remember the site but I found it by typing "color and mood" at Google. Good luck!
- well king is royal so ide say blue well a light purple with a gray sounds like a good idea
- Six years ago I painted our master bedroom Venetian Red, which is a deep delicious red. My husband and I loved it for five years. Just recently my parents moved in with us, and we added on. Now that same master bedroom is robin's egg blue, and just as lovely, if not quite as striking. The point is...go with what you really want....it can always be changed.
- You might think about shades of plum which is a muted color of purple. It's slightly more subtle and you may find it more relaxing. I would collect magazine pics for a couple of weeks of color combinations you like. They don't have to be photos of bedrooms, just photos of colors you find appealing wheather they be in nature or linens. You'll start to discover a reoccuring pattern of your likes. - What about one purple accent wall. Keeping the rest of the walls a neautral.
- Black. Your eyes are closed more than 90% of the time you that you spend in there anyways.
- Your bedroom can be whatever color you want it to be. It's *your* bedroom - you have to please no one but yourself. No one but my husband and I are ever in our bedroom so we've done what we like.
