Where to get great but not too expensive furniture?

=) Just curious, thinking of getting a new bedroom set (for a girl). Something that will be good for up to 4-5 years (atleast) and is not cheapy but not over $1,000 per furniture piece, so PB Teen is out of the question, haha! Give me websites, names of stores, anything to help! Thanks in advance! Oh and any tips on redoing a room? Thanks!

1. Do you have an Ikea near you? They have great design ideas in their catalogs, too.
2. Ikea, look it up on the web. Or swap meets if you dont mind doing some refinishing yourself.
3. Overstock.com They have great pieces and everything ships for only $2.95! Also they have a liberal return policy. I love Ikea as well-but most everything must be assembled.
4. Pier 1 is great I recently saw a bed set there that sounds like it would be good for a girl but also nice for when she gets older.. check out their website it's so fun to shop at it's my favorite store!
