What color should I paint my master bedroom?
The theme in the room already is black and white with red as the accent color....thanks!

- i think you should use a silver color or something light it would look good
- I would paint a medium taupe color, you can always change the colors in the room, and if you should sell your home it makes it a versatile color for others who might not want to repaint. E

- I don't think I would use tan or off white if white is one of your colors the first thing that came to mind was grey so I kinda like that silver idea or maybe a faux with silver and white.
- do a checkerboard pattern or just keep it white. I tried to look for pictures on the net for ya, but couldn't find anything... U should look thru some catalogs for, like, JCPenney or something... THey have the best pictures of bedrooms.
- I would paint it white and use black and red to decorate the walls. Black framed pictures, black shadow boxes and black or red shelves. By painting with white, it will coordinate but not be overwhelming.
- play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours: http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/paint_colors/visualizer/ I think a gray-green like "herbal wash" (# 7739) would coordinate with your current color scheme + add some needed warmth.
- Change your accent color to icy blue for a cool sophisticated look.
