I am needing a good color to match with a light yellow for a master bedroom.Any good suggestion?

  1. white, but that makes the room to light and youll want to be sleeping and so that could be bothersome. So I suggest a blue or green
  2. It's always a matter of personal taste, but I like cobalt blue with yellow. Also lime green, gold or tan.
  3. I would say a blue - such as in pieces of china. Instead of the blue and white china, there is blue and yellow. I believe it is called "fleur" in French. I am doing a quilt and drapes and just got the yellow paint swatches to do mine. You could also do a darker shade of yellow with white, blue or brown accents. I would go and look at the paint charts and place them side by side. Also go to the better stores and look at the china and you will see what I mean. Good luck.
  4. get a new light and have white walls but if you like color then have color walls
  5. Sage green would be a good color.
  6. Red is great with light or buttered yellow. It is a bold color that adds a modern contemporary look while being fun at the same time. You could try having an accent wall painted red with the rest being yellow, have yellow and red decorative pillows on a darker yellow comforter, or a red rug. If you think red is a bit too bold, try painting the walls yellow and just adding red accents.
  7. Don't really know if it's matching or contrasting colors. Will go with contrasting. Dark/Navy Blue throw pillows for bed. Could look even better if the throw pillows have some gold in fabric. Mix it up so that they don't match. Brings in more interest. Gold with touch of dark blue for curtains. Bright and mellow yellow silk flows in a vase. Save a couple, maybe three to place on bed or between throw pillows or maybe a chair.
  8. we like our sky-blue ceiling with yellow walls.
  9. Plum.
  10. olive green sounds pretty to me - relaxing and pretty
