Anyone have design (painting) ideas for an upstairs master bedroom in a cape with odd shaped walls and ceiling
We don't want to paint the ceiling and would like two different wall colors if possible. We wish to not make the room look any smaller. Help. Any web sites with pics or anything for ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

- Two different wall colors is a great idea go stutle to make the room appear larger. If there are to few windows in the room fake the light with a creamy yellow on one wall and a golden yellow on the other. Or use a soft blue wall with a creamy yellow depending on the mood you wish to create. - Cool colors give the illusion that things are bigger...ie the sky and open fields.. High contrast between colors can also help like dark walls and white trim...what you put in the room and how shapes play off of each other. Look at your room in terms of shapes and bring out the odd angles..Keeping your ceiling bright white helps in the reflection of light. Also stay away from small prints in a small room.
