1. well for used i would look on craigslist.com then you dont have to worry about shipping but look at the pics first.
2. Why don't you go to garage sales? Except for her bed, we got everything we needed for our daughter's bedroom from local garage sales. We cleaned and repainted everything with white enamel paint and added a "kitten" motif, which she loves. It looks great!!! We even found a 20 gallon aquarium with all the tropical fish supplies CHEAP. Happy hunting!!!
3. It depends on what you call cheap. www.target.com has a lot of furnishings for kids, but not everything at Target ships free. We bought our kids' furniture at This End Up (while the stores were open, now there's just a website) and it's been durable and sturdy, and it was very reasonable.
