What do you all think about the platform beds?
I want to use contemporary furniture in my master bedroom. Something like a platform bed or Japnese bed. The size of my bedroom is 18" width 16" length and 11" height. I want to use purple/ lilac and lemon yellow/ cream combination there. Please suggest. I absolutely agree with you nurse susan. You have given wonderful tips. I was wondering about the colors what is your opinion on that?

- We have a platform bed, and I love it. 1] try one with storage underneath - great for out of season, or once in a while clothes 2] then get all the furniture you want to match at the same time - they discontinue styles every few years [ dresser, chest of drawers, armoire, nighttables, etc. Suggest you measure furniture and arrange on paper - buy the biggest ones you can fit in the room! ] 3] unless you are never moving again, buy a queen size bed - king sizes don't fit in many bedrooms!
