help...I need some ideas???
Hey, I'm a 18 years old girl, I just bought my first house and need some design ideas for my master bedroom. I did the bathroom, office and two guest rooms, but I'm drawing complete blanks for my room. The feel of the whole house is modern/contemporary etcc. I'm just looking for some ideas for my room. I would like it to feel cozy and warm and to tie it into the whole house. Paint color ideas? What should I do or? anything... I'm putting out $1500 to do my whole room. I already have furniture, bed/head board/footboard, plasma, and two side tables etc.. THANKS everyone=]

- In a recent study blue was shown to be the least stressful color so a deep rich blue would probably be a good idea. Question, are your pieces black or wood or white? If black go with a lighter blue. If wood or white make the blue a deep navy blue.
- I think neutral colors best you can always accent with colors in like pillows or somthing. I think a tan or chocolate (lite) paint color and a white down comforter get big pillows and add color. I also like safari printed pictures. Get a big tree to go near a window and get a chest to sit under the plant to raise it up a bit. I always like dark curtains in my bedroom. A big chair would be nice in a corner.
