Our newly bought bedroom suite and dining sets have groups of pin holes. What do need to do?

Should we exchange the furniture or return it? We noticed only after they delivered. We couldn't see such things in the show room.

  1. Exchange the furniture...
  2. Request that they switch out the affected pieces. Are you sure they're pin holes? They could be natural holes if they're wood.
  3. lol keep it they come like that to make it look more antek
  4. Contact the seller immediately. Take pictures for proof if this has to go to court. Pin holes ae weird.
  5. You will find this on many new sets. It is to make the pieces look distressed and antique. My sister bought a new dining set and hutch with the same thing. When I first looked at it I thought, "She spent all that money and it is damaged." But in reality it is just for appearances. You should call and check if it will ease your mind.
  6. Many furniture pieces have deliberate pin holes on the finish for antique look. Yours may not be a defect at all. You may want to call the furniture store and asked them to check other sets in their inventory to see if it;s the same case.
