I have black bedroom furniture and just bought a comforter with blues and tans, what color to paint walls?
The new comforter is covered with squares that contain a few shades of blues and tans. I would like to fuse the black furniture and the colors in the comforter together. Currently walls are light grey and floors are dark hardwood

- I would go with a beige or sandy color.
- Do a tan or a light blue, depending on the amount of black furniture in the room. if you don't have alot, then you can do a darker wall color. However if you have alot of furniture, then I would pick a little lighter tan or blue. hope this helps.
- that lime green color at the top of the screen right now.
- beige or toupe
- You could check out teal or ask somebody at the a hardware store. bring in pics for them to see.
- What color are they now?
- I would paint the walls a light color (like eggshell, off white, etc.) You don't want to make the whole room dark. It's not good for one's mood and energy.
- try a light shade of grey. here is a scale: http://www.stevelarkins.freeuk.com/images/grey_scale.gif pic the lightest one or the 2nd lightest one. but what about the floor?
- likee a light gray close to white idkk haha =] thats what i would do one of those or LIGHT LIGHT blue good luck bab
- Pick a medium/light shade of blue. You can do a accent wall that mimicks the blanket.
- pick a tan from the comforter and go with it.
- go with a darker tan that matches your comforter
- play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours: http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/ I think it would look fab to paint your walls color like "fiery brown" (# 6055). You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website: http://www.roomvues.com/ You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
