does bed canopy give romantic look to the mastre bedroom? does it look good and modern?

i have black queen bed and black furniture ..we r moving to new hpuse..i want to color my bedroom light green...does bed canopy look good?

1. i like them.i think they look romantic.
2. I assume you're female. If you've got a boyfriend or husband, don't do this to him. Canopy beds are for little girls. He will feel silly sleeping in it.
3. Canopy beds are timeless. why kings have slept in canopy beds, so they are not just for little girls. but do go for a simple modern look. bc u own black furniture, it will look tailored, yet sophisticated. asian accents would be fun too.
4. It depends on the bed. Some can look very modern if they hve clean straight lines. Gotta say I hate the ones that have too much fabric, or the curved canopy.
