  1. I love a darkish blue with white crown molding. Very elegant
  2. you should paint a nice crisp brown with little brown throw pillows it will give that nice clean feeling but with out a million colors thrown at that wonderful white. take my advice. i am a home designer.
  3. I think a crisp blue, very light, like an "ice blue" would compliment it very well. It will give you the same feeling as the white - clean, crisp, etc - but will add some depth and dimension. I would also add some chrome or mirror details to the room as well.
  4. I love green. It's a natural color, cool and relaxing. You can use a yellowy celery, or a mossy sage. I think it would look great with white! .
  5. 3 walls pink and the larger one purple.
  6. wow you have so many options with white. In terms of fresh clean feelings. I would stick with cool blues and or greens and even yellow or peach. You can always opt for something in the tan family. Don't worry about getting bored with the color as you can spice it up with beautiful throw pillows and other accessories. I would say don't put anything that you will tire of quickly.
  7. What kind of mood are you trying to set? Adeep chocolate brown offsets the white and give you an earthy and warm feeling. While a turqoise or light blue a calm ayet light airy presence to a room. Bright red for a fiery outgoing or passionate yet playfull style.
  8. Any color would look nice, especially if you get some throw pillows the same color and add some white crown molding. It just depends on what you want the feel of your room to be. It's obviously going to feel fresh because of the white, but like green makes it feel clean and fresh, blue is more elegant and comforting, etc. I've always wanted to try decorating my bedroom that way, nice choice!
  9. Go with the palest of color with whatever color you choose. Remeber to add touchs of black to ground the room and make it sophisticated such as black pic frames or art.
  10. go to home dept or lowes and pick up a free home painting program. Not sure of the name but you take a picture of a room and load it into your computer and you see your room with different colored walls. Also, here are some pics of rooms with white furniture http://imagebank.ipcmedia.com/imageBank/i/IH0507-61.jpg http://www.lauradaydesign.com/blog/uploaded_images/LIVINGROOM-797834.JPG http://img.timeinc.net/aolhome/i/design/sl/03/05/SL0305127l_1_l.jpg http://www.victoriaplumb.com/white_furniture.jpg http://www.diydiva.com/images/clip_image066.jpg http://www.becoming-home.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/guestroom-inspirationboard.jpg http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ol-images/sf/uploads/10-16-lyssa2.jpg http://www.nest-interiors.net/sitebuilder/images/DSCN0957-360x485.jpg
  11. A very soft pale yellow or a neutral color like beige or toffee or mocha would look nice too ~ really make the white stand out. You really could go with ANY COLOR YOUR HEART DESIRES because everything is WHITE.
  12. According to research done by Home Interiors and Gifts, Spring is a time of renewal and refreshing change. With a blank slate so to speak, your choice of wall colors, curtains and bedding are limitless and depends on your personal decorating style (casual, contemporary, or classic). If you already know your style, I would suggest starting with a print or some type of wall art or focal point for your room. Maybe even a floral accent chair, your favorite floral arrangement etc . Then pull colors and finishes from that to capture the style and look you are going for. If you are more a casual decorator, for spring I would chose a fresh vibrant color that bring the outdoors in. Such as lemon yellow, tangerine orange, grass green etc. Try a bold floral design and distressed finishes. If you are Classic try soft hues like pinky coral, soft lavender, light rose, pale yellow etc. Incorporate scrollwork, shimmering crystal accents with brushed gold and champagne finishes. If you are more Contemporary, try a natural feel that is punched with bold elements. Like a botanical design, woven rattan, and some pottery. For colors try a yellow cast green, palm green, olive green or even an unexpected mineral blue and bring the outdoors into your space. Using the simple 4 steps of decorating, you can help bring the look to life.
  13. Any color you prefer..whites go with any color..
  14. a very pale blue would look great, but it may leave the space feeling a little cold as it is a cool color. To keep the look fresh, but also make it warm, you could use pale apricot, cantaloupe, coral. To make it feel fresh ,crisp and earthy, use a light celery green. Stay away from grays and beiges, as they will make the white look muddy and shadowy.
  15. U r so lucky everything is white...you may choose whatever color you wish. I personally would choose...charcoal grey..a deep beige or cocoa brown....all with white trim.
