Colours for teenage girls bedroom?
I am 16 and i need a more mature colour scheme. Two of my walls are dark pink and the other two are lilac. My carpet is dark pink and my furniture is beech. I need a nice colour scheme to make it look better. It looks horrible at the moment. Also, my blind is green. My bedroom is also very small, its about 8 ft by 6 ft

- dark purple with silver accents.
- hot pink and black.... thats what i did
- Black and white and a pale lavender. Or you can go with earth tones; green and brown. Both are REALLY cute and sophisticated. Don't go to dark, or it will make your room look small.
- it depends on what colors you like, unless you have to keep the carpet.
- go for warm colours like choclate brown or a deep red, but not on all of the walls
- red and black, or orange and blue, lime green try some of those and some of them look good together
- light purple and light green can always make the place look good, even for a living room.
- Pink pink pink!!!! I'm 21 and my room is completely pink but very subtly so... with flowing curtains, it looks like a bedroom for a princess! Stunning! You could try painting it cream and used coloured accessories so anytime you want a change you just change the accessories. Possibly brown or red accessories for now??
- i would get new blilnds. try light pink walls and paint like thin strips with a dark pink that matches your carpet. This will make the room look bigger than it really is. make sure to use scotch painters tape to make sure that the lines are crisp and even
- a modern day red, not blood red, but a darker more settling red. that's what i did and it looks great!
- I don't know your price range but you can go to walmart.com and put together a room.they have bed -in-a- bag so maybe you can find something to coordinate with your room.hope this helps=)
- OK well i would paint my room a light color that is calm and is beautiful with any color beside it like lilac and blue and green mixxed those clors look great but dont mix them
- Im 15 nd in my room the ceiling is white, the walls are cream apart from 1 wall which is a feature wall and is like a burgundy/crimson/dark pinky red colour and my floor is cream..... You could do this and just have 1 wall a dark green to match your blind then do the rest cream it looks good in my room... :)
- Hi. Id say Chocolate and cream Red and Black Hot pink and Black Silver and chocolate Light purple and Deep blue Red and black Grey and Orange Green and Brown Hope this is any help x
- I have like 3 dark red walls and one white, don’t cover all your walls in one dark color.. Leave one with a lighter color, it will make the room look a bit bigger,.. The right red can seem very mature, and the wrong very christmas like witch will bee annoying too look at..so be careful,
- how bout light blue and brown? its still a fun color, you could get black or brown furniture to match it.
- This site helped me a lot as far as color ideas. I liked the ones towards the bottom of the page more. I would also recommend getting new carpet. Pink will not look good if you want a more mature looking room, unless you pick a color that will look okay with it, but I'm not sure how well that could work. If you can't get new carpeting, maybe just try a large throw rug that will cover at least most of the floor. http://www.dominomag.com/galleries/paint/paint_rainbow_list?showall=true Good Luck!
- black and pink.
