Teenager Bedroom Designs..?
Hi. I really need help finding a colour scheme for my bedroom. I ust have no idea what colour(s) I want it to be. By the way..I'm 16.

- sky blue, very light yellowish color
- Erm maybe a cream and a purply or pinky colour
- brown with baby blue is the new thing. so is black & white toile. check out "teen bedding" at target dot com and overstock dot com. you can google "teen bedding" on the shopping tab & get tons of ideas.
- I know a 20 year old that used to have the coolest room, there were 2 hot pink walls, and 2 black walls, and over the pink was a black meshy material, and over the black was a pink mesh, super cool
- How about blues and brown. Hot colors right now. The blue is a medium. Do you have a Bed Bath & Beyond Store near you? They have rooms set up with color schemes. Great place to get ideas. Find bedding with your colors and add natural elements (shades, throw rug) and accents in the blues and browns (pillows, colors in the photos, candles, chair cushion, throw for the bed). Photo frames all one color, say black with the same color mattings, say white. You will be pleased. Also, sites to check out for more inspiration: bhg.com, choose rooms from size, color, style, you name it. hgtv.com, many decorating shows with numerous ideas. homemadesimple.com, do-it-yourselft, crafts, for you. These are all great sites and FREE for your use.
- have you thought of useing chalkboard paint it comes in green and black you could always paint the walls with this and design your room around your moods it is a fun thing to do and your friends could also do some doodleing when over just a suggestion
- Pick out your bedding first. Find something, in the colors and patterns you like first and then choose a color from that. Window dressing is another place to get your ideas. again pick something you like. Good luck!
