How to light paper lanterns in teen bedroom?

I have these two paper lanters hanging in my room right now. And they are currently unlit. My question is - what do I use to light them? I don't want cords everywhere in my room either. Is there a simple way to light them without making it look messy? Thanks!

2. For our teen, we bought some big white chain painted one bright orange, the other bright pink. Then fed the cord to a light through the chain and into the paper lanterns. She really likes them, in her room. FYI she is 14
