How to make dark cherry bedroom furniture modern?
My parents are giving me a dark cherry bedroom suite (dresser, mirror, chest, and nightstand) that is fairly modern (black handles, smooth lines). But the bed I'm getting is slightly lighter in color and more classic looking. Or you could for for something fresher like sage or duck egg blue. This shade of blue works so nicely with dark stained wood, but would also work with your slightly lighter coloured bed.
