How do I make my room look like the 1930s bedroom/office?
What color wall paint did they use? What did there shelves and furniture look like? What kind of carpeting did they use? (Color, design, ect.) If you can find pictures of these items that would be great. Thanks for your time, can't wait for a response.

- This was the end of the Art Deco period. It is hard to describe exactly, but you know it when you see it! Things like Tiffany-like lamps, with statues holding up the lamp part itself. Lots of lines - curves, and zig-zags, with straight lines between them. Furniture was big, almost overstuffed. Lots of chrome and metals, and contrasting colours next to each other. I'm not expert on the period, but definitely check out Art Deco.
