Ideas for painting a teenage girl's bedroom, and decorating ideas?
I like greens, blues, and dark brown, but not sure where to start? Also, any ideas for window treatments and organizing?? Thanks.

- Hi i think you should go for a cream look paint as you want the other colours to contrast against the green and blues accessories, try getting a nice dark brown curtain and then add balls u kno those shiny ones and mix green and blue together. however i think what goes with green is a sort of goldy brown and dark brown so y not keep it at that theme instead of adding blue or if u want do blue with brown and i think bluey shades such as teal and turquoise will brightn ur room, also get a rug and basically simple accessories that you like and im sure ur room will come together, gd luck
- Are you the teenager? Or is this for your child? The key is to get them involved in the process. Chocolate is a very popular color scheme right now. Chocolate and teal, chocolate and pink. If you walk in any model home you will find these colors in almost every room. These colors can give a classic look or a trendy look. For a teen they will more than likely want the loud flashy prints. Large circles, squiggly lines and so forth. I would start with finding bedding with all those colors and build from there. In a bedroom the bed is almost always the focal point unless there is a fireplace or large artwork in the room. A simple window treatment is the best idea because if she is a teen she will change in a few years anyway.

Consider decorative decals for an accent wall; they're easy to apply and remove. Then start accessorizing slowly. Choose lamps, accent pillows, rugs, candles, art that you love.
