  1. Be careful with yellow in the bedroom. It's a very busy color to have in the room used for rest.
  2. I suggest you have one wall with wallpaper on... roses, spots, stripes etc. and then paint the rest of the walls a neutral colour. You could also pick out another colour from the wallpaper and paint a small section of your room. Like a chimney breast or a closet.
  3. I just redid my daughters room with pink walls and black polka dots. It came out really cute. She loves it. I got the vinyl, peel and stick dots at Lowe's. It saved me hours of painting dots on her wall. Try a test sample of the paint you like on the wall and live with it for a few days to see if it is the color is what you want. Lowes sells the sample jars too. Happy painting!
  4. Pink with yellow polka dots sounds very cute for a little girl's room, but I think I would shy away from it for an adult's room. Instead, if you like pink and yellow polka dots, try to find a pink fabric with yellow polka dots for a comforter, pillow cases, curtains, etc. Then you could paint the walls a light yellow or a light pink. You could also paint an accent wall pink and then the other three walls yellow.
  5. I think pink and yellow may be too much. Assuming you're in middle school or high school, in a few years you will probably regret picking such bright colors. When I was in 6th grade, I painted 2 of my walls pink and 2 yellow with lime green stars and flowers trimming the top. True, polka dots are probably a better choice than stars and flowers, but I still think I would go a little more neutral. Maybe pick a purple, blues/greens, or you could have one really bright accent wall. Now, I'm in high school, and I have a red accent wall with the rest an off-white. I love red because it can be energetic, loving, passionate, warm, and fun all at the same time. Pick a color that suits your personality. Keep in mind you will be waking up to that color every day and your friends will probably see it. If you're really set on pink, maybe try a lighter pink with some polka dots in deeper colors to stand out more. I think brown and hot pink would look cute. Maybe something like this? http://ratemyspace.hgtv.com/snc/ViewItem.aspx?pguid=6db6be3f-1720-4ba3-a081-999042c09b6b&itemguid=1039ae23-83a2-4cae-8464-df8009352b80 Oh, and if you do polka dots, I wouldn't do them all over the room. Probably just one wall. Wallpaper polka dots would look nice, too. So, I know from personal experience that it was pretty weird when I had friends over with a room like that and also just seeing such vibrant colors everyday got a little tiring. Anyway, do what you want because it's your room, but think about how much you'll like it in a year or two. Good Luck!

It might work but you need the right pink to go with yellow , like this for example http://bp0.blogger.com/_1zGI45V5Qm4/RjEhRq7bOzI/AAAAAAAABp0/UlYUlpUkQ88/s400/PinkBermudaFabricLewisSherinviaStylecourt.jpg http://z.about.com/d/miniatures/1/5/C/D/-/-/yellows.jpg this pink http://www.justformesewing.com/images/uploads/pink_yellow_reversible.JPG
  7. Well you don't want to make your walls too busy, that's the last thing you should do. If you are really set on pink and yellow, maybe you can paint all of your walls a pale yellow, and then paint one wall with the pale yellow and then hot pink polkadots. That would be your accent wall. That way, you will be able to have a nice, funky bedding and accessories without making your room look so busy! I looked for examples, but I couldn't find anything. Sorry!
  8. It sounds nice to me, but I wouldn't do the entire room in dots. Paint just one wall that way and then accessorize the rest. Here are some ideas for you: http://cgi.ebay.com/Pink-and-yellow-polka-dots-wall-decor-clock_W0QQitemZ110290070854QQcmdZViewItem http://store.mypolkadots.com/cepibapiyepo.html Use stripes on the bed instead of polka dots: http://store.babycenter.com/product/code/9153.do?scid=SSE:GOO&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=210875 http://www.audio-video-furniture.com/Common/Product/Product.aspx?ID=46492&Src=GoogleBase&SrcID=307830 Instead of painting the dots, maybe decals would work better: http://www.google.com/products?q=pink+polka+dot+wall+decals&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-42,GGGL:en&um=1&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title http://www.thecompanystore.com/parent/Sheets+Prints/3002/E1K0X/ http://www.collector-connection.com/polka-dots-and-stripes-full-queen-quilt-set.html http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=2728313 Now that I've "shopped" alittle I think you should paint your walls a soft buttery yellow (which will match lots of other colors when you want a change), use pink decals on one wall, a striped comforter with the same colors in it and throw in a splash of lime green or purple in accents. Hope this helped.
