teen bedroom color ideas?!!?

hey can you guys help? im 16 and i want to paint my boring yellow walls. what color do you think i should paint them. if you have any links that would be great. please don't suggest pink and brown together or light blue and light green. I think i might wanto to use a darker shade thatn what it is now. thanks. if you ahve any questions let me know!

1. I'm having the same problem. I was thinking I would put like a solid (probably darker such as a raspberry or chocolate) on 3 walls and then a chalkboard wall on the 4th wall in my room. Then you can write on the chalkboard wall and change it up whenever you feel like changing it. I think they sell chalkboard paint at home depot but I'm not sure. I hope this gives you some inspiration!!
