What's a romantic color for a master bedroom(other than red)?

2. How about various shades of red? Like Maroon or Burgundy? I have my room painted maroon and white, it only has one window in it so I needed the white for lightness, but I have maroon carpet and I painted two walls maroon only half way up and then white at the top and the other two walls are completley maroon with white sponge painting on them! It looks warm and inviting!
