i need help designing my bedroom?! i'm 15 and want it kinda cool vintage but more adaptable?

i'm totally redesigning my bedroom :) it's a largish rectangle room, with built in wardrobes but i can get rid of them. i have a green carpet, but i might be able to get rid of that. although a wooden floor would probably go more with the style of room i'm after, i want a carpet. i really like designs like this, http://s7d2.scene7.com/is/image/UrbanOutfitters/12121984_21_b?$prodmain$ http://s7d2.scene7.com/is/image/UrbanOutfitters/12991675_00_b?$prodmain$ but i also really like kitcsh things, and cute toys like dinosaurs and bows and some scene and retro things. i don't want to many patterns so i can buy things which will fit in easily. the colours i would concider for my room are yellow, blue, purple and possibly green? can you fabulous people help me put together colour schemes and ideas? thanks. oh, i forgot to mention i'm in england, so i can't really go to places like jcpenny, but thanks anyway :)

6. you can find many bedroom decorating pictures here: www.decor-photos.com and including many style all around the world. but it seems not much pictures are England style... anyway, just a suggestion
