I'm having bedroom design problems. What colors go well with light beige walls?
I should mention...I have two adorable red lamps and was hoping to work them in...I also have a black dresser that I would like to keep in the room. Do red, black and beige go well together though? And I have horrible stained carpet from a paint spill, what kind of rugs would be best? HELP!!!

- maroon and brown go good with beige. there are lots of contemporary rugs with those colors. red black and beige will go. you just have to get the right pieces. like fake flowers and candles and sh*t. if i were you, i would do an asian theme those are the perfect colors for that. you can get a canvas and paint chinese words on there with the colors you need.
- Red, Black and beige would look great together! Beige is what I would use! What type of flooring do you have and what color is it? Offhand, I'd say use a red, black or white throw rug. That'd look great.
- Definitely do the red and black with beige. Yes those colors work well together because they have warm hues. Yes it is possible to have a warm black, trust me. You should use the pieces that you love and make them work. Also get a rug that has all three colors in there or maybe pick out a rug with more red because you have only red lamp shades, so you can even out the colors in your room! Wish you all the best on your bedroom project!
- These are key colors of Japanese design, which recurs in other movements. A red rug or bamboo colour (a deeper version of the walls) would work well. Keep it simple.
- Yes, those three colors work well together as long as your bedding brings them all together. Maybe one of these will do that: http://www.target.com/Seabreeze-Stripe-Bedding-Collection/dp/B0015JAQ0O/qid=1214008122/ref=br_1_8/601-5169538-7103314?ie=UTF8&node=14125291&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=14125291&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=3 You could use something very simple like this one and add pillows with some black and red in them. As long as you have just a little touch of red somewhere else (candles, vase of flowers, throw, a small wooden chair painted red..think thrift shop) your lamps will work. Paint a chair like this red! http://www.fotosearch.com/SBY854/57600579/ http://www.target.com/Fieldcrest-Lattice-Bedding-Collection/dp/B000BBDYO2/qid=1214008225/ref=br_1_7/601-5169538-7103314?ie=UTF8&node=14122231&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=14122231&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=4 http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Retro-Radar-Camel-Red-7-piece-Bedding-Ensemble/2581347/product.html?
