what colour would go nicely with a dark pink canvas bedroom set?

Im moving and have to choose carpet for my little girls room. Her bedroom set is a dark pink (almost cerise) colour and the walls are creamy. I was thinking of a lightish purple (not lilac). Any other ideas?

1. I would make the carpet a neutral and add the color to the walls. It's much easier to change paint then it is to change carpet.
2. no purple it will clash with the pink, try a natural colour or a chocolate brown
3. I think I would go more neutral with a sandy shade of tan or a gray tone carpet.
4. because the dark pink is so bold, i would keep other colors neutral. whites, blacks, greys would be a good contract to the bold dark pink. purple and pink is okay but it will be too much for the room and may get tired of it quickly... You can also add cool decals to walls to add a cool look! http://www.carfacial.com its for cars but you can certainly use it on walls!!!!
