How to get a shabby chic bedroom?
A few years ago I got some new bedroom furniture which is really modern and wooden but I have really gone off it and want more of a shabby chic look. I don't want to ask my parents for more furniture because the furniture I have isn't that old. Any ideas of what I can do to create this look without buying completely new furniture?

- Go to Targrt and look at the Shabby Chic line of bedding and accessories. The furniture itself won't matter so much as how you dress it up.
- Slip cover your headboard, cover it in foam or quilt batting and make a canvas or bleached floral fabric, cover. Move your dresser into the closet. get glass tops for your nightstands and slipcover them in a coordinating fabric. Change your lamps, your mirror andd artwork to a shabby chic style. Focus on your bedding, and layer it, tea dye bedskirts and pillow shams. and bring in a rustic rug like berber, or faded aubusson, or even a Dhuri. .
